I can't interact with my dream

I'm very good at becoming lucid and realizing that I'm dreaming, but this is actually not the problem. The problem is that I realize I'm dreaming, I also realize I can't do anything in it, because when I even derail the correct course of how my dream wants me to play this out, the dream starts to collapse around me until I undo the changes. I'm a prisoner within my own dream, at the mercy of my subconscious imagination. During the dream though, as I walk through the wonderland, as I'm supposed to, according to the dream's setting, I plot ways to stabilize the dream before I bust out my powers, because no matter how intense the powers and/or change are, it's comparable to losing synchronization in assassin's creed; the dream starts to collapse around me in the first 5 seconds after veering out of course, become unstable, and eject me back into reality. If I wander back into the correct setting of the dream soon enough, I won't be ejected from the dream. How can I interact with my dream environment and make it not so fragile?

For every dreamer, dream control is based off of one main thing. And that is expectation, which is like your schemas. As Sageous has said before, "Much of the fabric of your dreams is woven with expectation." This means, whatever you expect to happen will happen. In dreams your power comes from your schemas and expectations(which both seem practically the same). Next time you attempt to do something in your dream, just expect everything to go the way you planned, but KNOW it will happen as well.:D

Actually it looks like your level of lucidity is not high enough. Whel you realize, really realize your're dreaming and basically everything around is just your mind, you can do anything.

I'm not too sure it's his level of lucidity that is bringing his dream control down as dream control and lucidity are two different things when dreaming. Though I am taking his word that he frequently gets lucid dreams a lot, I would try to stay calm when attempting to stabilize or control anything in a dream. Also if you think your a prisoner of your own mind that will most likely increase the odds that you won't have any dream control. For me I gain better dream control and control over my lucidity when I remain calm and change the way I think during the certain situation I am experiencing in the dream.

Sure it's not the same but you need to get over a minimal level of lucidity for dream control. Sometimes you have a feeling you're lucid but it's more like it's hidden somewhere deep and just peeking out. Like a false lucidity :D

Actually, this is not true. I've had many NLDs and semi-lucids where my dream control was better than the dream control in my LDs. I can often fly better in semi-lucids than in lucids, as well as manipulate the environment with more confidence. I think when you are fully conscious, there is also a lot of room for self-doubt, which lends itself to failed dream control. But the idea that level of lucidity is directly proportional to level of control is absolutely not true--at least not for me. And apparently not for Ezio.

Try changing small things first. Shrink something (I like to frame an object in my hands and move them closer together, lol) or enlarge something. Try walking through a wall. Try not to think of it as control, but as gentle manipulation. Understand that your methods will work, because the dream will often bend to whatever level of logic you choose to impose upon it. If you think flying by making swimming movements will be "easier," then it will be. Also, if you think of shrinking something as a small, attainable goal, it will be one, and will open the door for larger goals (like summoning Grandma!).

When you're not fully lucid the dream control might be just false one. Like a dream about control :D. Like a normal dream you do something you think you want to do.

So in your perspective if you're not lucid in your dream then what ever you do in your non lucid dreams aren't really you doing them and that it's a false control. It's only when you're lucid that you really do have dream control if it's high enough. The thing is I don't think a false dream control is possible as long as you show you have dream control in a dream regardless of lucidity should count. The only difference between Lucid dream control and non lucid dream control is that you aren't aware that you are doing this. You still are controlling something in the dream despite not being aware, we do things despite being unconscious that is how we do reality checks when we are not aware in a dream unless you wish to consider failed reality checks as false ones however if the person does become lucid using a reality check when they weren't lucid would you consider that false lucidity and that they didn't use any control to cause that?

RCs should be a habit you do often in your life. You do many stuff in dreams that you're used to do in real life. Actually I think this problem we are discussing is only a matter of words and names. Lucid or not lucid....I just have an experience of some semi-lucid states where I am not sure if I was lucid or just dreamed about being lucid and was cheated by my mind.

I look at dream control as something you can do while not being aware that you are dreaming, I don't see dream control as something that can only happen when you become lucid in a dream. It's an addition to the meaning we have on these words that we're at a disagreement with. You don't have to agree with me I enjoy debating I find it fun. About the semi lucid experience that has occurred for you that was an opportunity for a reality check , in most cases when someone does a reality check they are in this semi lucid state where they are confuse about the environment they are in. The reality check is a great way to break through this stage of awareness to fully experience the lucidity of where you can fully say this is 100% a dream with no doubt. Other thing that could've broke through this stage of awareness for you is if since you're in semi lucidity the dream should be more vivid and in depth for the point of where you can witness something that's not natural and seeing that can bring you in to complete lucidity.

Yea I understand you point of view but it's as you said. I think we can speak about dream control only while being lucid.
