      Avoiding dream sex

So basically every time I have an LD these days I immediately try to have sex and then shortly after I wake up. It's like no matter how much I know IRL that it will end the LD I just can't stop doing it. Anyone have any tips for how to remember/convince yourself not to immediately pursue dream sex when I become lucid?
      Lucid Goals
      - Have a 10+ minute lucid dream
      - Take tequila shots with a DC
      - Use the force
      - Teleport to dream castle by making a portal in dream
      - Practice flying

Try to come up with other goals that you really want to accomplish. During WBTB or during the day really think about the goals and imagine yourself doing them. Spend some LDs trying to accomplish those goals. Once you have more practice and your LDs are a little more stable, do what you want to avoid once or twice to get it out of your system.

You could work with some stability training, like meditation. Recognize lust as just another physiological reaction to stimuli, and then choose to act differently.

Also, remember that distractor DCs in dream are nothing but your mind's projections, and therefore are not inherently different than anything else in the dream. It's all mind. You could focus your awareness on that DC until he/she dissolves or changes into something else, which could break the allure.

Or, as Dragonmaster suggests, focus on a goal that is more pressing and simply ignore the distracting DC.

I haven't had the luxury of even contemplating dream sex...the very act of becoming excited at achieving LD killed at least three of mine (and the prospect of sex must surely have the same results) Is it a sensible rule-of-thumb to remain cool at all times?
If the World didn't suck we'd all fall off.

Your body will respond physiologically to dream phenomena; if you get too excited in dream, your body's heartbeat will elevate, your adrenal glands open up, and you push yourself closer and closer to a state of wakefulness. So yes, remaining cool is highly advised
