      No control in my LDs

In almost all of my lucid dreams so far I have virtually no control. If I try to talk to someone they completely ignore me, if I try to do something I'm unable to for one reason or another. If I try to move in one direction I'm pulled to the other.
In my last dream I saw 3 animals holding signs with very simple phrases on them. I decided to test the idea that letters won't stay stable and words will change if you stare too long or look away and back (I wanted to see this in action because I've tried it in dream RCs and it never works). As soon as I decided to do that I unwillingly rotated around the room where I couldn't see the signs and then the signs disappeared altogether. I tried to redirect it but the dream ended.
I've tried demanding clarity and light. I've tried doing some dream stabilization. How else can gain control?

      Hi,

It might be just temporary thing or something that just happend out of reason in one of your lucids and after that lucid you built a fear of being unable to do anything
Dreams can be controlled aswell by fears so if you fear in dream that you will get caught stealing donuts from shop then most likely you will be caught

I'd suggest you after entering lucid dream or becoming lucid straight away perform stabilization technique
I recommend this one: Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
And after doing so tell yourself with full belief and confidence that you have absolute control over dream and you can change anything you want at will.

And for Dream Control not working it might be also that forced control does not seems to work in your dreams
You can try reading up BillyBob's Dream Control Guide and try out passive control.

Yeah I know your problem, last few LDs I've had no control. I try to fly but I end up just jumping. I jump and some extreme force of gravity pulls me back down (like I can't even jump to normal height)

I ended up having a lucid dream the other night where I was using forced control effortlessly for a while but it stopped working. So I did troll my brain! Lol I decided to practice passive control and thought, "oh yeah, I have the perfect thing in my purse!" Even though the context made absolutely no sense and I had no reason or memory of carrying a purse with me. It worked! Then the dream ended but yay!
