hmm. i'm bad. i think so

Is this the right place to post? Anyways, so far, I was able to summon dream characters by yelling out there name when I wanted to but I'm having a hard time trying to get them to look more like the actual people I've met in real life. Okay, so I'm trying to summon this girl, whom I used to be friends with , and after I yell out her name, she appears but her face looks a lot more different! I know exactly what she looks like and I even saw her the same way in dreams as in real life in previous dreams but now, when I'm lucid and summon her around a corner, it's so obvious to tell it isn't her! Sometimes she would even come out in a different skin tone or a girl I used to like about 6 years ago. I'm just wondering why she doesn't look like the same girl I remembered in person...

This is funny because I have a similar situation. One of my dream signs is seeing a friend I used to play basketball with regularly. Just the other night I had a dream of him sitting with me and this sexy emo girl. I recognized him, he was who he was, but he looked different. His jaw was wider and he had side burns. I think the reason for this is because I haven't seen him in waking life for a while so maybe my brain forgot what he looks like exactly, or it doesn't feel like manifesting it to 100% accuracy.

Just the fact you can summon people you want in your dreams puts you ahead of some people on this forum, my self included, so congratulations.

I really like how Dreamer handled this in her pillow fight with Sensei, CanisLucidus, and anotherdreamer. Essentially she did not worry that the summoned DCs looked off, and continued the dream. The DCs eventually changed to look how she had originally intended.

That's the strategy that comes to my mind. I haven't had many opportunities yet to try it in this particular situation (I plan to do so the next time it happens), but I have had many other cases in which I knew something was a bit “off” in a LD, but decided to pretend as if it were what I wanted, and eventually it became so. Likewise, I've found that ignoring aspects of situations I don't like is quite effective at making them disappear.

Whenever I summon famous ppl they at first glance seem real and convincing, but the more time I spend with them or the closer I get the less convinced I am... It's like I slowly recognize it is not really them. I had a dream about two guys from Depeche Mode and I knew it was them, I was startled, but as we were talking I realise they might only be imposters, or they look shitty up close.

Same with my first Scarlett Johannsson LD summon. At first I had no doubt and was proud that it worked out so fine, but up close and personal she looked just like your girl next door that was blonde. Meh. The second time I summoned her she looked much better, maybe a matter of day's form.
