What techniques to have the least and most difficulty with.

In this thread we post our two easiest dream techniques, our two weakest, and try to give the best explanation we can as to why this is the case. I'm hoping we can develop some better understanding ourselves to make dreaming (subconscious) easier.

Two easiest:
1.Transformation
2.Summoning.

I haven't been lucid dreaming long now, but I've been managing to get a few dreams in quick succession. Transformation is my go to skill when I lucid dream, I usually take on the form of an corrosive black cloud with gnashing teeth and razor tentacles warping around the abyss. Summoning is also very easy, I always bring back my pet dog to cheer me up when I can go lucid. These two seem easy because I don't have trouble visualizing things in dreams.

Two weakest:
1. Flight
2. Teleportation

Alright, my first lucid dream involved flying, but that dream started off in flight. In dreams where I start off on the ground, my feet will drag along the ground, but I can't propel myself into the air. Teleportation is also pretty difficult, i've tried both spinning and willing myself to go places, but I can't ever seem to get anywhere. These two seem difficult because the expectation of flight and instant travel, despite me trying to drill it into my skull that it's a dream, don't exist. I can not seem to go anywhere, but where the dream lays out.

2. Teleportation

In my 2 lucid dreams i've tried Flight, Summoning objects and Transformation though it's pretty much firsts and second trys so this is gonna change pretty soon and maybe my post will be useless :)

2 easiest

1. Summoning objects

I tried summoning stairs to go down from my balcony and it worked when i closed my eyes and snapped my fingers.
I also changed the pants i was wearing with a snap of my fingers




2 weakest

1. Transformation
2. Flight


I tried to transform myself to become kind of and angel: i wanted wings.
So i tried snapping my fingers but i gained only a few feathers throyout my arms.

I tried flight in both of the lucids but i only made big jumps... i wanted to use wings but that didn't work out.
I'm planning maybe next time to summon an object like a jetpack? what do you guys think?

That would probably work, not much I know about lucid dreaming, but I feel like tools help augment the process of control.

Two easiest

2. Hand to hand combat super saiyan style.

Two hardest
1. Teleporting (I usually have to find a door and imagine the door leading to where I want to go)
2. Summoning people

I've had quite a lot of lucid dreams and these have been pretty stable.
Cool idea for a thread by the way.

Haven't done much yet, but flying has always been as easy as walking.

Easiest:

- flying (floating like a ghost above the ground is like second nature for some reason, flying like Superman is a bit more challenging but doable with a little extra will)
- pushing things around like with the Force or something like that

Most difficult:

- summoning people
- changing scenery

Even when I'm well aware that I'm dreaming and I can do whatever I want, I still find it difficult to 'shut off' the part of my brain that's saying "no, that's not possible". Darn expectations..

Easiest:

1.) Flying. I have great control over my flying. It works very consistently and although I have trouble going at high speeds, it's solid.

2.) Manifesting my Dream Guide. It seems my dream guide is always only a door, phone call or turn of the head away...

Hardest:

1.) Scene Changes. My god is dream spinning hard for me. I can never seem to go where I want to. I can never seem to change the scene to what I want to. It always seems to be random and out of control.

2.) Earthbending. In theory this always sounded easy to me. Just be as stubborn as a mountain and the earth will bend to your will. Well it doesn't. Only once was I ever able to Earthbend.

Easiest:
1) Flight
2) Conjuring elements or objects

Hardest:
1) Finding or summoning specific people
2) Traveling to a specific place

I don't know why my dreaming mind is so obstinate, but I have spent whole dreams just looking for particular people or characters -- whether fictional, historical, or even DCs I've met before -- and all I get is evasions, obstacles, and excuses. So much for having a dream guide; I don't think I've met the same DC twice ever. Maybe it's because I'm just not that much of a people person in waking life, I don't know. I can summon any kind of animal easily enough, and conjuring objects or elements usually works on the first or second try, but people I hope to find remain absurdly elusive.

It would be

Easiest:
1. Telekinesis
2. Summoning women hehe... seriously. I'm not that good at summoning living things except women... beautiful women that is.

Hardest:
1. Flying
2. Teleportation

Easiest:
Fire
Telekinesis

Hardest:
Remembering goals (semi-fixed)
Flight (fixed)

Easiest:
Flight
Summoning

Hardest:
Transformation
Teleportation

I don't have much experience yet, but here's mine:

Easiest:
- Teleportation
- I don't know, can't think of one..

Hardest:
- Flying (my brain keeps thinking "nope you can't do that")
- Summoning people

Easiest:
- Flying/floating (used to be hardest, but after a few years I finally got to where I can do it reliably, though moving very quickly or very high is still difficult)
- Summoning people/objects that could plausibly exist in the current dream scene (e.g., in my house, it's easy to summon my cat, my things, etc.)

Hardest:
- Passing through solid objects (sometimes I can make glass bend like plastic wrap, but it's still hard to punch my way through…)
- Summoning improbable objects/fictional characters (if they're not something that could likely appear in real life, I have immense difficulty making it happen)

The pattern here is that my mind apparently has a hard time wanting to accept that non-realistic things can happen in dreams. It took a long time just to fly, and I've spent several years trying to achieve the other stuff (I've managed them, and some other impressive things like changing the color of the sky, a couple of times, but that's it). I feel like once I can just manage to achieve them consistently, there must be virtually nothing else stopping me from succeeding in every other form of dream control. :D

Easiest:
- Flying
- Lentation (Passing through solid objects)

Easy because I've done it so many times, failed a few times to start with but after that it became 2nd nature.

Hardest:
- Remembering Goals
- Energy Blasts (eg. Kamehameha)

Hard because for so long I just followed the dream plot whilst lucid to prolong it and just did whatever I felt like in the moment, and I didn't watch much anime as a kid.

Easiest:
-Levitation/Flight (I fly by levitating off the ground)
-Summoning People

It's funny, long before I knew what lucid dreaming was (I was just trying to remember to do cool stuff in the dreams, but didn't know it had a name and techniques for inducing it) I would always try to fly whenever I got lucid. I would try triple jumping (like in Super Mario 64) flapping my arms, etc. But would never success. Then some time after I found out about lucid dreaming and had some more experience I found that I could very easily levitate. Basically I would imagine a force pushing me up and moving me around. It became easier with every dream. I haven't tried flying and high speeds or altitudes, tough. I also use this "force" to move objects around.To summon people I just imagine or say out loud "X person is gonna be just around the corner) or something like that. It works most of the time save for some dreams where I can't do it for some reason.

Hardest:
-Summoning Objects
-Teleporting

Oddly enough, I usually fail at summoning objects. I use the same method as summoning people, for example opening a drawer and thing "X object will be here". The thing either does not show up or isn't exactly how I pictured it. I also have trouble getting to places. I have tried a few methods like spinning around but ended up in a different place. It was interesting tough, I spun around and began seeing shapes and using my imagination to "transform" then into things relating to the place I want to go. If I practice some I think I can start using this effectively.

The Easiest:
1. Flying (probably closer to a semi-controlled float than actual flying)
2. Finding/summoning people (though after waking, sometimes the person I found wasn't really the right person, but in the dream it was?)

The Hardest
1. Navigating to a specific place (always get lost or end up in the wrong place)
2. Orgasms (having sex is easy enough, but things tend to get too unstable/wonky for the climax. makes me sad).
