      Exclamation LD research

Since I am new I wanted to just jump right in. I am Brandon I am very interested in studying the science side of dreams and subconscious but I cant do it by myself as I rarely dream or rather get to REM as im a smoker and soda addict so I need others to expirament with. Enough of the introduction though. This question is more directed to master lucid dreamers. What is the maximum most astounding and world altering things you have been able to do in the LD world? Not like controlling DCs to do things or the normal such as flying, anything paradoxal would also be interesting to hear about. Very interested in the dream world and studying it. I will have more questions in the General Discussion.

I've been Lucid Dreaming and Controlling my dreams for almost 40 years now. I pretty much can do anything, be anything, go anywhere with a simple thought. I guess I would be considered on a very high level of control.

That's awesome, cudos my friend. To simply my question what are some of the more extraordinary things you have done like in Inception when the girl literally bends the world to an angle or where the other guys make a paradox stair case. Just curious of what the cap of extreme is.

To simplify it. The question should be. What I can't do? I am basically God in my dreams and can do anything I can think of at will. It took many years to reach this level of control.

Yoooo, if you're interested in pushing limits, you can skip the usual floundering and get straight to the endgame if you're up for it: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...ll-things.html

When it comes to dreaming, impossibility is only what you make it. =)

That's a nifty trick, its like becoming lucid after becoming lucid, lucidception anyone? Anyway that was good advice and whenever I manage to dream again I will remember that. Anyway! I am thankful for the advice and understand that people become god of their dreamscape BUT that's not what I am asking. I want 5-10 or more WAYS you have broken DreamReality. Like folding the land on top of its self. Ripping a giant tear through the sky that leads to another galaxy that in it, lies a completely whole new world. I want to know YOUR most incredible task, not that you have done them or how I can do them. Hopefully this broke it down better.

Forgive me for asking, Brandon, but what does any of this have to do with science?

Cool stories from successful LD'ers are ultimately just cool stories, and have no real scientific value, do they? Could you let us know why they'll help your research?

By the way, you also dream every night, no matter how much you smoke or drink soda. You simply aren't remembering your dreams. If you didn't dream, you would be in very serious mental trouble by now.

      Regardless, good luck with your

Well in my first lucid dream I managed to shoot lightning and fire out of hands like a wizard, that's pretty cool. I kinda agree with Sageous as what people can do in their dreams is literally limitless, anything you can imagine you can do. Period.

There are a couple of similar threads you might like to check out:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...cid-dream.html

      http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-expe...ile-lucid.html

For me, it's hard to choose a stand-out event from all of the dreams I've ever had... it's like if someone asked me to pinpoint one favourite moment from my entire life.
The dreams I personally find the most special are the ones with really strong emotions or philosophical lessons, whether lucid or non-lucid.
I often have very strong dream control in my LDs, but that seems more like "flexing my muscles" than actually doing something mind-bending or life changing. Dream control is still fun, of course.

Another DV member, Hukif, creates entire detailed universes in his lucid dreams, and has a lot of experience with time dilation. I think those are pretty amazing god-like powers!

PS. There's nothing stopping you from being a master lucid dreamer yourself, especially not smoking and soda.
