Could you give more detail what you mean. Are you referring to another thread?

What is that Slash's video? Or a thread here?

I found the thread you were refering to. Yes. By the standards of that thread I have had 100% and 110% dreams hundreds of times. I do not know how to answer "how did it feel?"

It felt like virtual reality that I could completely control. I can say it is not as fun after awhile as the dreams where you have super powers but are not consciously making up the details. I enjoy being powerful, but having lots of random cool things happen that I must respond too.

Feel free to read parts of my dream journal to get some ideas of what high control lucidity is like to me.

Like Sivason, i too have enjoyed full-on lucidity many times.

How does it feel? Aside from pretty damn good, I would have to say that for me it feels enlightening. This is because I am always careful, these days, to use my occasions of full-on lucidity to step away from the dream I happen to be in and toward places that encourage transcendental experiences..

I'm not sure that made any sense, but I wanted to say it that way to point out that, once you are at 100% lucidity -- once your self-awareness is fully present in your dream, and you have easy access to memory -- you have an opportunity to truly explore your Self, your mind, and your potentials in a manner that is simply not possible in waking-life.

And yes, I've also had plenty of full-on lucids that were filled with off-the-wall creativity, adventure, awesome scenes, new worlds, unique DC's, and perfect sensory function. That felt pretty good too!

Keep in mind also that lucidity does not equal vividness, it equals the presence of your waking-life self-awareness in a dream. There really isn't a "110%" lucidity, any more than there is a 110% "You." Sure, LD's can feel realer than real sometimes, but that can also happen in NLD's; and yes, you can certainly use your lucidity to increase clarity or realism, but that sort of control is a benefit of lucidity, and not lucidity itself.

Full disclosure: I have no idea what video you guys are talking about, so forgive me if my answer had nothing to do with your question... I just read your OP, and Sivason's excelent response, and just got a bit philosophical...

      • Your actions are all restricted to what the laws allow.

      • You can generally fly at this level and you are about as over-powered as a well-balanced superhero
      96% - (Full-lucid)
      • The majority of physical laws bend and often break whenever you try and go against them. You still cannot touch many of the fundamental laws however.
      • Here is the level where you can contradict reality by summoning things out of thin air.
The fundamental laws contain the things that tend to make the dream world unstable if they are toyed with. This includes things such as time, what you are (transforming into an animal or object) or attempting to get 360 vision.

      98% - (Full-lucid)
      • You can break all physical laws and can bend most fundamental laws.
Here is where you can do pretty much anything but there are a few elusive concepts that still slip beyond your reach.

      100% - (Full-lucid)
      • The dream is at your command, SIR!
There is knowing that you are dreaming, then there’s Understanding that you are dreaming. You are the latter. You know you can do anything at a whim and are able to do so. You can manipulate the dream world fully. I think we all know what this level is all about so I’ll leave it at that XD

      And finally...

      110% - (Super-lucid)
      • This occurs when you dive way too deep. You realize that its actually you who is generating the textures, colors, sound ect. You then attempt to consciously fill in everything in the dream.
Here's a little oddball. Its unstable and doesn't last very long. Our conscious mind is not nearly as efficient/powerful as our “dream mind” So, when we get passed the baton and attempt to maintain the perfection, we utterly fail. This usually leads to the dream imploding and you waking up. The best thing to do when this happens is to let the dream fade away and become vague enough with the eye candy that you can support is consciously.

This is also the level the VILD begins on. Regaining control can be done in much the same way as entering a VILD.

      End Notes

This system originated from my very own DJ .

      ^^ Ah! Thanks for sharing!

I now understand what Bryan was asking about the 110%, and can definitely see that I was speaking out of context!

So here is a possibly more relevant thought about that 110%:

In my experience, I actually find that 110% to be my goal, and not a problem. The trick in keeping your dream from crashing when diving that deep lies in understanding that generating dream scenes is not necessary at that level; there are other things to be done, things that do not require your dreaming mind's scene-creation resources. There are levels of consciousness that just don't care about pretty pictures.

Still, if great imagery is what you're after, then that 110% may actually promise a very helpful side-effect: you can use your dreaming mind as a tool for creativity; you can learn to allow it to do the heavy lifting of scene creation, all the while fully aware that a part of your own mind is doing it... sort of like how you use your hands to type forum posts without ever really thinking about how you are moving your fingers.

Hopefully this post was a bit closer to topic...

A couple thoughts. First I am not sure 360 degree vision is honestly obtainable. I can erase all data to a white nothing but if I add visuals I am still viewing them from a perspective point. Attempts so far at 360 vision just give me a fish bowl top down view which is not the same.

As far as 110% stuff, the dream does not need to fall apart if you limit the amount of data. I can have a blank white then add a small scene such as my hand holding an object. I can control those things like texture and color and so on. If one tries this on an entire life like scene, then you should use the method Sageous just mentioned. That means if I need a crowd of DCs I do not need to create clothing, hair and so on, I let the automatic part of my dream mind simply create random DCs. Then I can change some aspect of that if I see fit.

      Thanks guys.

Is it possible for everyone to achieve 100%? or is it pure luck? or do i need to practice for it? i never had an LD.

i only reach around 30% almost every night.

^^ I like to think that it's possible for anyone to achieve that 100% mark.

I believe that advanced LD'ing is not reserved for people with special talents, but is available to anyone willing to make the effort to learn how to consistently LD, and to eventually reach that 100% So yes, it is possible, but you will have to practice, and gain some experience.

      ^^ Congratulations, Bryan!

Yes, with time and effort, it is certainly possible to be lucid every night, but it might be a good idea to avoid holding that as a goal just now. Instead, have your next lucid as your goal, and don't worry about any others beyond that... they will come.

It is always interesting when people put their own levels on things. I think that it is a show of how different we all are. At higher vividness and awareness, it is often harder for me to break physical laws, no matter how much i know everything to be a dream. There are certain abilities that I have that I can use (even when non lucid or barely lucid) like flying (this took a lot of practice), teleporting, telekinesis, and pyrokinesis. And sometimes, you don't want to break out of the rules. I realized last night that i was dreaming and I was in Fairy Tail, a place I had been trying to reach. I was Natsu Dragneel and I wanted to complete a quest. Before leaving I tried to remember all of his powers and practice then. I ended up with half the building on fire. Lol. Breathing fire for the first time was a little addicting. I woke up after about 10 minutes of this but had 3 more lucid dreams about fairy tail (non deild, by incubation). Now something like flying would have probably need difficult, but something like breathing fire is easy. That is not just aware of where I am in waking, but bringing up waking memories and connecting them to dreaming places. it was quite a strain to remember how to do all the techniques. Awareness does not equal control, but it can. Creativity is the number one way to control a dream.

Also, as sageous was saying, don't worry about lucid dreaming every night, but why shouldn't you lucid dream tonight? Eliminate all the answers you may have to that question until you reach the point where you have no answer. I should lucid dream tonight. Nothing can stop me! I am not saying that belief will get you to ld, but if you work hard, then you want to work hard for the right thing. I don't know about every night, but I sure as heck and lding tonight. I can't aim to ld for multiple nights, just the present.
