Dream keeps self correcting if I try to control it - help plz
I typed a longer post with some examples in a dream, but I had to leave my computer and lost it when chrome crashed the page, so just a quick summery will have to do for now.
These are a couple problems I'm struggling to overcome in my dreams:
1. There seems to be a "God" like creature or my higher conscious that scolds me if I go beyond whatever parameters the dream decided. I can act within those and use whatever powers, flying, etc, if the dream allows it. I can be fully aware I am dreaming and make decisions. I can sometimes even clearly read words, even sentences (seems to get forgotten just like any music that may also appear in my dreams). But if I go beyond, I get warned, lets say trying to fly in a dream that doesn't want me to fly. If I go past that warning, I'll get forced back into the scene or find myself landing back on the ground and stripped of my ability to fly. I keep it up, I'll be forced into semi-lucid and non lucid dreams for the rest of the dream, perhaps the night.
2. Dream auto corrects and repeats if I try to change it. Let's say I don't like the outcome of a dream, and try to change it so the hero wins, evil does not kill, corrupt, poison, or chase dream characters, or I can alter the weather to prevent a tornado from forming, or anything desirable. The dream is determined too much to be stopped. I can sometimes temporarily alter the dream, but it can and will repeat. The dream repeats back to where it was before I made the decision. I can alter my decisions from the first repeat, but it will repeat again or find ways to alter the scene so no matter what I do to control it, the dream always maintains its own control.
I'm getting quite annoyed with this. I wish I could have full control rather than having to always be only semi-lucid. I can realize I am dreaming, ask the dream questions like "Why am I being shown this?" but the dream seems to know what I am up to and won't have it. If I try to check for words, it tends to give them to me. If I check the time, it will sometimes show me that. If I tell myself I am dreaming, it will say yes, you are dreaming. More less, this is the reality you are in for this dream scene and these are the laws of physics, gravity, etc allowed for this realm. If I can fly in a dream, it is because the dream allowed for it, not me.

One good thing about these dreams is that seems, when I analyze them when I am fully awake, they usually seem somehow relevant to my waking life emotions and struggles. When I can figure out the connection, I feel some sort of triumph in my waking life, and it seems helpful. Sometimes, if I am lucky, how I analyze such dream may affect the content of my next or future nights' dreams.
