How To Meet In An LD, AP, Or AT - Step By Step

A.K.A. Mutual, Shared or Group Dreaming - Meeting In An LD, AP, Or AT

LD, AP, and AT are cool and amazing. They're fun, fulfilling, creative, and useful. But how can you tell if your dreamscape or projection is actual reality?

Do you think it's purely objective, subjective, or a bit of both? Do you accept it as fact based on your experiences alone? What if you could apply a bit of scientific testing to convince yourself and others that at least some of it is objective?

I think that meeting another LDer, APer, or ATer in a dreamscape (or on another plane of existence) is a natural inclination or next step once a person has gained significant mastery in LD, AP, or AT.

It's the only way to truly prove that the experience is an alternate reality, external construct, or higher plane of existence rather than just personal imagination.

It would be even more impressive to do it in deep space, where the participants aren't close to the living organism called Earth or Gaia. Reason being is that some believe the cause of an LD, AP, and AT might only be triggered due to close proximity of the Earth. Do you believe that the Earth is alive?

Without further delay, let's dive right into the steps.

The Steps:

1. Agree to meet during an LD, AP, or AT on a given date and approximate time. Henceforth we'll refer to this as "the experience". Be sure not to mention what will be discussed or done in the experience. You want to keep it as objective as possible. That means resisting the urge to influence the other participant.

2. Go into the experience at the agreed upon date and time.

3. Call the other participant into your dreamscape if in LD. You can do that by calling out their name and feeling for them or by willing them in. Expect them to show up. Agree ahead of time where to meet if AP is the mode. AT is a bit more tricky - please offer feedback when you reply below.

4. Once in the experience, pay close attention to the details of the experience. At minimum, you'll want to describe the landscape, the atmosphere, the individuals, the dialogue, and the action bits of the experience.

5. When the experience has ended, carefully recall the experience with the details mentioned in step 2.

6. Write down the details of the experience.

7. Type in a copy of the experience on your word processor and save it.

8. Contact the other participant to ensure you both think you've met during the experience. Important: Don't discuss the details yet.

9. If you and the other participant think that you've met during the experience, exchange copies of your experience with each other. You can print out a copy of the experience. Then you can either meet in person or send it via snail mail. Otherwise, email the experience to each other.

10. Check and compare your experience with that of the other participant.

11. Decide for yourself if enough of the details match (especially the dialogue). If they do, present your case to the other participant. Ask for a comparison report from the other participant.

12. Based on both comparison reports, decide if you had an objective mutual experience.

13. If yes, then jump for joy and report it on the forum. If no, then try again later. Never give up, keep trying.

If you are successful, you can invite someone different or even more than one participant at a time once you feel comfortable doing so.

Word to the wise: I think it goes without saying that as with waking life, only invite someone you like and trust while attempting to group dream.

I often wonder about true immortality. What happens to us after the physical body dies. Would verifying a shared experience have any implications regarding true immortality?

I've tried to connect to someone in their dreams for years. Never really works.
You can get a representation of that person but it is only in your mind.

My proof was to pass on some verifiable piece of information to the other person.
They were never able to give me the info back or the other way around either.

Based on my decades of experience I don't think it is possible.
I've talked to people here that have claimed to do it. But after talking to them I realize they are either lying or just fooling themselves.

Just my opinion.

I'm always fascinated by this stuff. But if you really want good results, dreams where someone believes they've had a shared dream should be shared not with the other participant, but with a neutral third party. That third party then looks objectively at the two dreams and determines if they are the same (same date? same location? same things going on?). When you have the participants interact, one is very likely to fudge their side of the story to make it all seem real. I've experienced it one too many times personally. The two people trying to have a shared dream should not have any contact with each other after the experiment begins, to ensure that neither biases the other (and for instance, one doesn't see that the other had a dream and decides to fib).

It might not be the perfect way to study shared dreaming, but outside of a laboratory, I think the neutral third party is crucial for the results to be of any validity.

I would be interested if you can do it using my method of proof.

Email a 3rd Party some definite piece of verifiable information.

Try connecting in a dream to another person that is willing to try the experiment. Pass on that info to the other person.
Have that person email the 3rd part what the piece of info was to be verified.

I haven't been able to do it. Ever. I just think the person you see it just a representation of that person in your mind. That's all.

Honestly I don't get lucid enough to actually try for a shared dream. I've never actually tried for one myself. My personal belief is that they don't exist, but I'd be open to evidence to the contrary if it was done with credible scientific methods. Plus I know no one I feel comfortable enough with trying to have a shared dream with anyways.

Maybe one of these days someone will get some good results on shared dreaming though.

It's been revealed to me in OBEs that it's possible to interact with a higher aspect of a person's consciousness, call it "the soul level" if you will, an aspect of the individual which is attuned to higher spiritual/nonphysical realities while a more limited aspect of their consciousness is simultaneously engaged in the physical world. I was directly informed of this during an encounter with my grandmother in the out-of-body state. Sure, it could all be an invention of my mind, but this is just as much a belief as believing that it is an objective phenomenon, so in the very least it is an interesting possibility.

I have some experince with shared LD and AP but so far nothing usable as proof .Many times we describe similar enviromnt and actions but never get to actual exchange of informtion prepered to veryfi shared dream.
From my experince in LD bouth sides must have very good experince with LD if i try contact sombody without experince only i remeber experince and other side have hole in memory. I experinced 6 shared dreams with good results from about 60 tryes in moust of them call dint work or it create ilusion , only one site rember dream. From that 6 only 2 have good enought specific infomation this convince me that something going on and its need furter and better tests. I decide chose different path becouse in LD chance is low take me about 2 years to do about 60 tests. So i try working more on theory how to improve chances.

Now i try using method of mental travel to created "dream" world it have many advantages becouse i can travel there without preparation in few seconds and do some basic tests.From this tests i have many experinces where we able describe same things,actions , chnages to dreamworld ... But sill there are many porblems for now im focusing in imporving methods to overcome this problems and plan scientific test in future.
