Finding the balance and reach lucid fantasy?
I am having a hard time to control my surroundings when I'm lucid dreaming.
It seems as the only dreams I will be able to be lucid in and actually have a chance to experiment with the dream world are the ones that are the most lifelike. Almost all my lucid dreams took place in a city or indoors, surrounded by casual characters who have very believable personality traits.
I have tried to change my surroundings by focusing and managed to make new characters appear but never exactly what I wanted to.
In my regular dreams, I've seen it all. The end of the world, demons, creatures, out of this world landscapes.. but I can't seem to be lucid in those dreams, at least not completely. Does anybody have an idea as of why? I'm starting to get tired of experimenting with the few things that cross my path in lifelike surroundings. I've interacted with the people around me, tried drawing, managed to fly, experienced sensations such as the sense of touch and taste (I'm always amazed by the taste of food in my dreams haha) but in the end, it's getting old.
I feel like I'm managing to stay lucid for a longer period of time than I used to, wich I guess is a good start..
but am wondering how I could progress in matter of control.
