      Fly Control Help...

I have like at least 5 lucids a night, and am starting to get annoyed at the fact when I fly I don't stay up for as long as a want. When I fly in a lucid, I always hover for about 5 minutes but I can't stay up and fly straight. I always start off by jumping very high then hover downwards slowly. Kinda like knuckles the echidna. But anyway can someone give a tip on how to keep myself in the air when flying?

      Hi Dreamz,

With at least 5 lucids a night you should at least be getting a lot of practice flying, and like anything, practice makes perfect. It sounds like you are already doing quite well, just by the fact that you are lucid so many times a night.

Although things in the physical world are controlled by physical methods, things in the dream world are controlled by mental methods. So to have more control of your flying, learn to control your movements with your mind. Simply think yourself where you want to go. Like anything, the more you do it, the better you will become at it. Good luck.

I didn't really find it hard at all. The first time I just jumped off the building I was on allready, first I fell then I was like: hey I can fly.

i feel that the ability of flight in dreams is completely dependent on whether you truly believe you can fly or if you think it's something unnatural or special. if you believe you can fly and that it's nothing special it should come with ease.

I must've given out this advice a thousand times by now..

A neat trick is to use shortcuts to help you believe you can eg. fly.
Look behind you, and open the box there (must've been there the whole time, right?)
Take out the jetpack. Strap it on. Away you go.
If you don't like that one, reach in your pocket and pull out a bottle of 'flying pills'
Take a few, and there ya go. Now it's easy.
Give yourself a reason to believe it'll happen, it reduces the difficulty

      Good luck
