i am so friggn confused...

alrite...i had the most stuffed up dream..and i am not sure if it was lucid or not...

ok..

i was having a whole heap of nightmares...then i was in this field..and someone gave me a bottle. i then read the label on the side of it and i remember reading something about it being nuclear. near the end of the text..like u know how sometimes when your reading and u dont get the words or u read wrong..taht happened and i read the last bit again.

i noticed that the words changed..then i thought something like "hey doenst this happen in lucid dreams...oh wait this is a dream"

then everything turned white and started shaking and i could hear like a rumbly noise.

i then kept trying to change things as i was thinking that this is initially what happens and you draw ur environment from here. my ideas didnt work and i felt stuck.

i then tried to get out..but i couldnt..

at this time i was starting to get freaked out and the thoughts of being stuck forever raced through my mind.

i then jus went along with it..and repeated "i want to wake up now" and thankfully it worked...

after waking up i was really freaked out..and i didnt want to go bak to sleep.

can anybody tell me what the.... i was dreaming about..and if this was a lucid dream..or if i was dreaming about thinking i was lucid dreaming..if this is possible

Yes, when you are not very prepared for your first LD's, you can experience failures.
For me it was a "loop" in a dream and convulsions, followed by awakening/false awakening...

I am going to throw out a guess, and say that the whiteness and rumbling was a 'nuclear explosion' created by your brain...you said that the bottle said something like it was a neclear reactant...

And you couldn't get out because it was a nuke...people die in nukes. Your subconscience was one step in front of you.

I dont know wether this has helped...probably not, but its what i was thinkin...

Firstly gongrats on your lucid dream :) (is your first isn't it?)

Try to have a clear goal for your lucid dreams, for example, flying, exploring your suroundings, try to make someone apear, so that you don't end up doing something stupid.

Remember that the only think that can make you feel that you are going to get stuck up in the dream is your belief that this is happening. It is your dream and your feelings control it. When your feeling threatened next time try to relax and say to yourself that this is just a dream. this had helped me out of all the situations that could have been unpleasant. For example i had some dreams where i couldn hardly move and i was feeling scared. Once i relax my self i gained total control of my dream. Opinions vary but try it and find out for yourself. BYE
