I'll be in a lucid dream. Then I'll get the idea that something scary will happen, and of course it does because I expect it to. Usually it's that whoever I'm with turns into a kidnapper (this scary looking man who's totally evil.) I'll try to change that by making him turn into someone else, or flying away, etc. but none of it works (again, because I don't expect it to!) The kidnapper will just laugh at my attempts and that discourages me, and I'll be stuck in this scary LD with no control. I know it's just me making this happen, because my mind created the DCs in the first place, but it's a lot harder when I'm actually in the situation and this guy's about to bury me alive, or whatever.
Any tips on how to get some control?? Any, and I mean any, help is appreciated. This is taking over my lucid dreaming! *
Thanks,
Theresa
Thats exactly where i am its soooo annoying. I mean, ok, before i even knew what lucid dreaming meant, i still liked the idea of controlling my dreams. I was always fascinated in flying etc. But for SOME REASON i could only have limited control. I mean i can remember one time i wanted to fly, so i was outside in the front of my house, but all i could go was like 2 feet above the ground!! and soon i just couldnt fly any more in that dream. I duno i think its b/c i know in reality i cant do it, so i just assume i cant do it in dreaming or sumthing.. but its so annoying. in other dreams..umm.. i wanted to dream of this really hot chick..but all i come out with is a fat old lady. haha. i hate it.
