Last night I had this REALLY LONG dream. At one point I did RCs which proved I was dreaming. But yet I didn't feel like I was controling it all as if the whole thing was not lucid. For about 15 - 20 minutes in the dream, I was trying to fly through walls and just start flying through the sky in which every attempt was unsuccessful. There had to have been at least 10 attempts in it. Also, there was also talk of how many people where I was had dream journals. |

Wait!! .......Am I dreaming right now?
LDs: 8
Most LDs in one night: 3
It's time for a new beginning...

Are you dreaming or awake?

I've found it's possible to know you are dreaming without the actual 'click' that enables you to start controlling your dreams. An RC, even if it fails and you recognize that you are in a dream, does not mean you fully grasp the implications of a failed RC or being in a dream automatically. |

yes, if you perform a RC and realize you are dreaming, that's a lucid dream. Some lucid dreams have little or no control. Or maybe you were trying a task too difficult... For example I can fly through ceilings up, but I cant fly through the floors down. There may be something similar with you and walls. The main thing is : dont get caught in a loop trying to do one thing... I remember quite a lot of LDs where I got stuck trying to perform one particular action(like conjuring a weapon) for a very long time... Not fun... if you fail, try another way or do something else completely |

If you know you are dreaming, regardless of what checks you have done or what controll you had/didn't have, you are LDing. |
