it happend's every time...what to do?

      hello.
every time i have a lucid dream i seem to forget i am dreaming after a while..
like yesterday, i had a lucid dream...me and my dreamguide we had some fun killing people, and flying on a broomstick, offcourse in the beginning i rubbed my hands and said stabilyze, it always works, for a while...
but after 5 of 7 minutes i always seem to forget that i'm dreaming and the normal dream goes on...
anyone had the same problem?, or anyone knows what to do?

Maybe you just need to drill it into yourself more. Just keep thinking, "I am dreaming" and do your best not to get distracted. Or maybe even, "Hey, now THAT wouldn't happen if I'm awake!" every time you see something strange.

      Hope that helps a little.

Yeah, I've forgotten once or twice, it just comes from a non-lucid event interefering with you. For me, I've remembered that Its a dream a minute later or so, or just woken up, so its never really affected me though

Ya has happened to me! It only happens when in the dream I'm somewhere or doing something in real life. I lost lucidity at A mall I go to after a while, and got un lucid while trying to see if I can look something up on the computer. In the dream you were in maybe you lose lucidity because it was some place you normally are? Cause I don't think you go around flying on broomsticks or killing people in real life Maybe try to change scenery will help?

Well, it might help if you take a little time to stabilise yourself and your dream when you enter a dream/become lucid. I find this very useful all across the board So, instead of rushing off into your dream and doing whatever you wanted to do.. take some time to relax and take everything in. Let it clearly get to you, that you are dreaming. Become really aware.

And build it up slow too, don't start out with control-heavy stuff, I think this will generally just disturb your dream and shorten it's duration/the duration of your lucidity.

So yeah, doing this brings many positive effects, methinks ^_^ But that's just me.

      Good luck, anyway

      Yeah, it happens.

Anything in your dream can distract you and you will lose your lucidity. You just have to constantly check how stable and clear your dream is. Otherwise you be flying or ld'ing and a purple cat will walk by and you'll be like "Hey a purple cat...." and there goes the lucid!
