      Changing The Scene

I know there are many different ways to change the dream world around and I have tried a few of them myself. Two days ago I walked through a T.V. OK back to the point. During my last LD I had the idea to use google image search to change the scene around me.To do this I would search for the scene i was trying to change into and then climb through the computer monitor. Sadly before i could try this I found myself awake in my bed My mission for you all is to attempt to change a scene in a dream this way. Please share your results here in this post.

That sounds like a good idea (or fun, atleast). The last time I tried to use a computer in a LD, it messed with me and my dream though (wouldn't shut down, whatever I did). Anyway, if I notice a computer in my next LD, I might give it a shot.
      A dream
is a reality that others cannot see.
      Reality
is a dream you share with others.

      computers in dreams?
      AGH!
i never saw a computer in a dream - of any kind - without having it completely messed up with bugs-viruses-movielike alien possessions and so on. If I tried something like this, I would surely panic and lose control in a few seconds.

anyway, a television may work well... or also a written page maybe! in non-lucid dreams it happened to me sometimes to be swallowed in the story I was reading/movie i was watching / things somebody was telling me....

nice anyway. maybe I should try the tv thing

Hey, I tried this last night, unfortunately my computer didn't work at all - however, the majority of electrical equipment doesn't work in my dreams, so much so, that I use them as dreamsigns.
How about simply climbing through the computer screen and using the internet to transport you to a new dream scene? This may help with people who can't use electrical items - simply try to imagine the 'cyber space' scenes you see in the movies, I'll give it a try and let you know.
      Are you dreaming or awake?

I just remembered that one time I got to hell through a tv screen. My friend was playing some video game, and when I played it, it pretty much became reality. So there I was, in Hell, wondering how the hell I got there. Fun dream.

I have successfully changed my dream scene three times in the last month for lucid tasks. It is really a simple matter of visualization.

      1. I picture where I want to be in my head.
      2. I shut my dream eyes, but focus on the picture. As long as the dream body has some stimulation, i.e. thought, the dream should not end.
      3. After five seconds, a more vivid thought about the dream location pops into my mind and I open the dream eyes and magically I am in my desired location.

This can also be done while falling asleep, basically the MILD technique.
