keeping lucid in dreams
i havnt tried this out yet but i think it might work. when you first become lucid within a dream, create a dream tattoo or poster or something that says "Im dreaming" or "stay lucid" or along those lines, so everytime you glance at the poster or your tattoo, you stay lucid. dunno if this will work, but its worth a try if you are having trouble staying lucid
-
Might work, but do you think most people will remember the dream tattoo or poster when everything is fading away?
-
Yeah, I don't think that I would remember that it is there. Therefore, it wouldn't be there. :(

Here's a thread about an idea to get a REAL tattoo for reality checks. Just thought you'd find it interesting.
-
That is interesting. I'm going to do it.
I'm not sure, though, about anything written...
...have you ever tried to read in your dreams?
You dream with the right side of your brain. You read with the left... at least, that's what I've heard. I don't have a reliable source for that, but I do know that I have never been able to read.
I thought I did once. I read at least two pages of this book, and I thought 'Wow! I CAN read in my dreams.' but then when I woke up I remembered every detail about the dream... even what page I was reading, but I couldn't remember what I was reading about.
Perhaps, if you were lucid enough. So lucid that you were using both sides of your brain, you would be able to do it, but I'm pretty sure it's hard to read in your dreams.

with me i try to go with the flow to gain the experience of lucid dreaming before i try to control them fully, this usually keeps them going on for along time, although there are some exceptions, like when that stupid dream, bald, bus driver wouldnt take my money so i had to shoot him, with an instantly created gun. These bursts of control cause me to black out or wake up, so you should avoid getting angry or panicing, eventually you will get used to it...
-
Not always...
I became able to control my dreams more often than I go lucid.
That is, even when I am not lucid, I can still control ALL of my dreams. I've said this before. When I dream, I forget that there is a world out there somewhere, in which I can't fly, or walk through walls, or breathe underwater, or move things with my mind.
