      not mine

I've been having a problem, not recently but the last time I had a lucid dream, I didn't have control of it, someone else did, like they were taking over it! Sounds weird but that happened also in just normal dreams too. What could that be?
      Need help on that please!

I'm not really sure how to answer your question. Welcome to the forum. I am going to move this to the Dream control section so that your question could be better attended to.
      Shine on, you crazy diamond!

There are many things that happen when you are dreaming that do not make sence. Most of the time they are accepted or overlooked. But they are almost always strange.
This sounds like another one of those things that is just strange and random. Perhaps it is a fear that you have... I don't know, but...
...someone is definately not taking over your dream. At least we will assume that at this point
When you enter lucidity, remember that you DO have control over your dreams.
Don't have any doubt. When you want to fly, EXPECT it to happen. Don't even think about the possibility that it might not happen, because that leaves the possibility.
Remember, your mind DOES control your dreams, and therefor YOU do. The only thing that holds people back is that when they think that it MIGHT not work, they're brain can imagine it not working, and then... it doesn't work!
Next time you want to walk through a wall, don't TRY to walk through it, and SEE if it worked... Just do it. Don't even think about it as being a big deal.

      It will work.

I didn't mean "take over", it was that feeling though. And I wasn't trying to do something difficult. For instance, I try to say a word, I say something that I don't want to and I then try again with force but I repeat what ever I didn't want to say. Or when I do an action if I wanted to do something sometimes it's like I don't have control and I do something else, a different movement or like such, and if I try to correct it (again with force, like I know I'm supposed to have control) it's like, well I'll describe it so you can visualize it easier, look at a non-moving object/scene anything and quickly blink your eyes several times but so you can still clearly see the object/scene. That's how it is, it repeats it just like that, sometimes it drives me insane that I can't change it, then I try to forget it and do something else, move on, and it wont let me, it's like my dream make me (just feels like) do that specific action/verbal thing that I didn't want to do. It bothers me so much I actually lose that dream and everything goes blank and I end up in a new one or I wake up.

Thanks though, I might try harder with your advice!

I would advise you just stop dreaming or sleeping altogether. That will illiminate this problem.
      Just messin'.

I can see where this would be frustrating. I mean, if you do not have control over anything, where do you start to gain control?
      Interresting...

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but in my lucid dreams, I sometimes do control myself, but I see myself as if I'm looking at a scene with me in it, not from my eyes, but it's still me. Kind of confusing huh

All dreams seem like that, until you get really lucid! Its the same as being drunk or whatever. You're like 'Why would I ever do that?!!' Its just the way things go :3

I have went lucid before and had control and everything was normal, but most times I have that problem, that's why it annoys me.

Yeah, the less strength there is in your lucidity, the more silly the things you do seem!

I suggest suspecting that the thing in question has a solid form in the dream. If you can, start expecting it to appear. Then say something (again, if you can), like, "Hey, Look, a DISTRACTION! " and punch its lights out.

"Hey, Look, a DISTRACTION! Very Happy"[/b]
      hehe, best line ever.
aside from that however, i would sugest sinking through the ground. i used to have ld's every once in a while ( dident know what they were called tho) but they kinda left, few years ago. anyway, what i always used to do, if i dident like a situation i was in, was just bring on that feeling of droping, or freefall or whatever, and they id fall throught he ground into somewhere else. idk, just something you might like to try out if your stuck that way.
