now, im not sure if this topic should actualy go here, or in the general chat, or in the 'beond dreaming' forum, but i decided to put it here, so here it is:
i have heard mention somewhere (i dont remember where, so no link sorry) of people actualy going, in their LD's, and changing physical aspects of themselves OUTSIDE OF THE DREAM, or at least attesting to doing so.
now im not stupid or delusonal, so i know you cannot go in and suddenly change your face, or hair or something and wake up and have it be like that, because thats imposible in about every way i can think of. what i mean is changing certian aspects of yourself related to your subconsious mind, namely your brain and your nervous system. what i mean by this is perhaps somehow taping into your subconsious mind during a lucid dream (what you do pretty much the whole time as far as i can see, i think thats the point of an ld, bringing your consious mind into the world of your subconsious, but correct me if im wrong) and changing the way your mind works, such as improving your memory, turning up your sense of hearing (via increasing the strenght of the signals coming from your ears as they are inturpreted or some such), or even improving your reflexes. since these things are controlled by your subconsious mind, and you can tap into your subconsious mind in an ld, it stands to reason that you should be able to affect them, right?
something like thinking about your breath, and then suddenly taking over for you subconsious mind (which untill you thought about it was pumping your lungs in and out in an even pattern) and holding your breath, or breathing realy fast / realy slow.
anyway, im not sure if any of this is possible, but from what ive though about it, it just might be for all you lucid experts and gods out there.
just want to see what people think of this idea, so post any flaws / agrements / other theories about this whole concept here. i dont mind being burned about how stupid the idea is, so go ahead and flame it to pecies if ya like
