      anger

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this. Maybe I was losing control. I was in the middle of a dream and something made me really mad. At first it was like I was vibrating. But then as I got angrier, it started to radiate off me, and everything started to burn. It came off me in waves and spread out everywhere. Then, I heard someone say my name from behind me. I turned around and there was a very close friend of mine who had recently died. The anger instantly vanished, and I ran to him, crying telling him how much I missed him, and how happy I was that he finally came to see me. As I hugged him, I woke up.

I was wondering if anyone else experienced such a crazy manifestation of emotions?

Emotions are typically amplified in dreams - hence why you can be terrified of something in a dream and wake up wondering what you were afraid of, or how you can find something gut-bustingly hilarious in a dream and wake up without finding it that funny (both have happened to me on several different occasions). I've even experienced what you described of getting so angry that I start to emanate fire from my body. It can be both amazing and frightening, but there's nothing to worry about if it happens - it's totally normal as your emotions are particularly powerful in dreams.
"Going through life worrying about the little things is like cooking with motor oil instead of cooking oil. Sure, you can still probably pull it off, but it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth in retrospect." - Me, apparently

Actually, now that I think about it, I have had dreams filled with extreme sadness as well. The kind where I wake up and I am crying and thank god it was just a dream, because they usually involve my children. Being a parent can be scary as hell....I live for my kids.
