I have 3/4 dreams every week, I always dream of Normal days, Going to school, doing work, arguing with my parents about homework. Arg, How can i take control? I've took control of a dream once but that was a few months ago. Also How do you make your self dream of your dream sign? Hi i'm new to the forum but not to lucid dreaming. L_Guy,

I am not sure if there is a technique to gain control as I have found. I sometimes have control in non-lucids, and have lucids where I have no control. Maybe increasing awareness by saying "Clarity now!" and rubbing your hands together may help with being able to control your dream world. I'm not sure what you mean by making yourself of your dream sign. Typically what you focus on during the day may come out in your dreams, so it's possible to create a dreamsign. When you focus on things through the day, it's important to do reality checks. L_Guy, [/b] well im not sure u have a complete understanding of LDing yet, which is fine because were all always learning and your very new... but first off to take control, you have to become lucid. this happens when you realize you are dreaming, and all things are possible from there. second, you dont make yourself dream of dreamsigns, you identify what they are by keeping a dreamjournal and noticing simmilarities, and when they hapen in your dream, you recognize them for what they are and realize you are dreaming. this helps you become lucid. try to also when you see something weird in life, notice it, and ask yourself if you are dreaming. this will help you become lucid as well as being much more aware in your day to day waking life... as for taking control, the main things are 1) identify how easily this comes to you... if in your first lucid dream you are summoning things with ease or even at all, or you are flying, or just changing the colors of things... this will probably all come easy to you. if, which will probably be the case, this is more difficult for you, start small and practice and the larger more difficult tasks will come to you in time. there are many useful threads in this forum on how to increase your dreamcontrol... ive even written a couple if ud like to read those, but im sure there are many others which are just as good if not better. welcome to the forum.
