      Tearing the dream fabric

There have been times when I draw a vertical line of green light in front of me and then pull it apart and step into nothingness. I was curious if anyone else has done this.

The cosmic vagina... Took me a few minutes to pick myself up off the floor after that. I like that. Makes me think of Pink Floyd's The Wall for some reason thought!

I have seen some green shit severl times. Once it closed over my dream from the edges of my vision. I was flying backwards and it crept in from the edges until I woke up. Another time I was in an elevator that was descending really fast and I looked down and there was psychadellic green swirling and arcing like electricity and whizzing past me. Interesting that you have a similar experience.

      cosmic uhh.. stuff

      cosmic.... dude.

No comment. Not this time. Nope.

I've actually had similar experiences, only instead of drawing a line, I draw a square or rectangle and step through it. and besides green, they are often glowing yellow, blue, or red. I also have had sorcery related dreams where I feel like some witch or sorcerer is trying to hex me and I counter them by drawing shapes in the air and uttering strange languages... sorry getting tangential again.

Whenever I wipe out an area of my dreamscape and begin creating another scene in it's place the new creation stems from a green light. Green is the color of creation (at least in my dreams).

      Hm

      Hmm...

My theory on something like this..

During your manifestion in a lucid dream, everything still abides by rules, that you set either directly, or subconsciously. The ability to go into a another "realm" in a lucid dream, could simply signify that you're going into another dream state (not sleep state, dream state) and is your way of changing the scenario, or, that your subconscious mind is fooling you into your actualy wishes for the ability to lucid dream, or you are on the verge of something big.

I would lean to your subconscious fooling you into your wishes for the ability to easily naviagate a lucid dream because being able to "tear" a wall down, as such, would mean that there are limits within the "dream realm" to shed. This shouldn't be possible since it is in your mind. Ergo, if you are tearing into a different realm, this is most likely your subconscious fooling you. Doors and opening signify new opprotunities, realms, etc. This is in human psychology though. When in regards to something as such let's say.. entering a tangent plane through a lucid dream, it would most likely be a much harder to comprehend method or that you wouldn't even realise it at first, because being able to easily tear through something and have complete comprehension of it signifies to me that your mind is setting rules and manipulating your dream subcosnciously.

I feel I am becoming repetative.. hopefully I was enlightening,

I think we create walls (limits) and other things that need to be shed all the time -through our fears, expectations, desires, and feelings -like guilt, anger, etc. and that its possible that the rules we create cannot or are not understood many times because they are created so deeply within our subconscious minds. I agree with it probably being a change in "dream state" rather than sleep state... but I don't think it is too far a stretch to think it may be "entering a tangent plane" or realm. Sometimes, by using psychological theory, we begin to think that some things are harder or more complicated than they really are.

This statement would then be saying that psychology is solely regimented. I personally believe otherwise; that psychology helps those who study develop a higher understanding and educated comprehension of psychological matters, analytical means, etc. Not setting everything to abide by sets of rules and standards.

Is that what you mean by that? Or do you mean psychology theory attempts to bring reasonable explanations to situations?

      ...?

Not sure what you mean there.

      >I personally believe otherwise; that psychology helps those who study develop a higher understanding and educated comprehension of psychological matters, analytical means, etc. Not setting everything to abide by sets of rules and standards.

I believe that anytime we analyze or make meaning of something (i.e. psychoanalysis of dreams), we utilize some sort of standard by which to create meaning (scientific theory) Problem I see is many times we take theory as fact and then end up basing a whole lot of our meaning (truth/reality) on theory which is imbedded with assumptions. This is presumptuous, I think. A lot of scientific theory is seen as pretty solid because of the pace at which we attain knowledge (which is often controlled by government). Theory always changes and needs to be examined and re-examined at its base. Just my humble opinion. Some would say that scientific theory is "all we have." I would differ there since I am a man of faith and conviction. Is psychology/science as useless? Not at all, but I would still caution that we need to look critically at theories since they are often imbedded with assumptions (Consider whether or not we will look at psychology the same 50 or 100 years from now -with the quickening pace of technological discovery/invention, I would say not...)

      >Psych theory attempts to bring reasonable explanations to situations?

Yes it does, but it is just that -"an attempt" that is no more or less valid (from a logical standpoint) than any other attempt . I think maybe this topic is worthy of p-messaging since we're diverging?

      hehe adult joke

But in other news, that sounds intresting, a rift in your dreamscape. Baybe you could use this rift to cross over to another oersons dream. and then we can all me at the statue of liberty.
