Well what I would have Advised you...You said it Right there |

So I managed to have my third lucid dream last night. Hurray for me but I have a problem. I always end up wanting to change the dreamscape completely, e.g. a new setting, new DC's everything. I have read that this can sometimes be achieved through spinning, and have tried 3 times to this effect. It ALMOST works, but I have ended up waking up instead everytime(once was false, the other two were actual awakenings). My question here is do any of you have any other methods that have worked or that you have read about? Or do I just need to take it slower and try changing something smaller before I change the world (haha...)? |

Luminous Spacious Dream Masters That Holographically Communicate
among other teachers taught me
not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.
thats the advice of someone who wants you to work hard (thats probably the best advice) but another method, is to close your eyes in the dream imagine vividly a door behind u. then say to urself, when i walk through that door it will take me too... (chipotle). this can work. try it. |

these jokes in no way reflect the opinion of mountain or his affiliates and subsidiary corporations, and as such he is immune from all whining, bitching, complaining, lecturing, the pointing out of ignorance, awareness raising, lawsuits etc. if you would like mountain to stop making racist jokes, he in turn would like you to go f*ck yourself</span>.
What I always do (and always have done) Is find a wall, a window, a mirror, etc. run at it as fast as you can and dive through it vividly imagining what on the other side (if it was a window i advise closing the blinds first) what will happen is a win win situation: |

I have the same problem. Lately, all of my LD's have been in my dark and empty house. I have only made it outside once, only to find a slightly larger version of my ....dark and empty yard. |

Dear Leixor, |

Blowing huge holes in the scenery is quite far from my intentions. If I was going to just blow things up I could do that just as easily in any random dreamscape as I could in one of my own creation. As for having upset my subconcious mind, I seriously doubt it. My dreams are rarely violent or destructive, and those that are tend to be out of my control (well they wouldn't be if I was lucid, possibly). For example, I often dream of tornados. Quite a destructive force but not one of my own conscious design. I would find it rather silly to finally reach the place I have been wishing to go and then destroy it without regard. Some people might not, but I would. |

"What if all the world you think you know
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection
Is it all you want it to be?"
I believe though... that some people's dreams will sometimes have messsages. |

So... a big thanks to all of you... I had my best lucid dream by far last night and in it I managed to successfully end up where I wanted to be. I decided to try the find a door and envision what you want is on the other side method. Well there were no doors but there was a big, grand, stone archway, probably 10 feet across and 15 feet high. I decided this would suffice. I faced my back to it and decided when I turned the place I wanted to be would be there. I turned and it wasn't. I tried again this time putting all my focus and resolve into it and turned. It worked! It wasn't perfect, the dreamscape was much less colorful and vibrant than the rest of my dream had been... it was washed out like an old photograph... nevertheless it worked! Thank you! |
