      Cool

Mountain again, expanding on my series (more x infinity sweet tips) of tips hard accrued from a few years hard at work (I was sleeping on the job, hardy har har) anyway, heres a tip that can be used by everyone, newbies and old boys of the forum alike... though im sure the old boys already know this or are in no need of further methods of increasing control. The tip is simply this... youd be surprised what you can do when you have your back to the wall... putting yourself in high pressure situatiions can help u to gain control over your dreams. for instance, while you may be unable to move a backpackfull of books across the room, step out into the path of a moving train and you may find your mind stronger then u once thought. cant fly? tried so hard and too many times to count? instead of jumping into the air try jump9ing off a cliff (and then you'll pass the lucid task as well as maybe learning to fly! when your against the ropes you may be able to pull things out of your a-...hat... that you might not have been able to otherwise. cant shoot lightning from your hands? been trying to fry stuff for a long time? have somebody rob you and you might just find an ace up your sleeve. The bottom line is you can do much more when u think u have to then when you only want to.
these jokes in no way reflect the opinion of mountain or his affiliates and subsidiary corporations, and as such he is immune from all whining, bitching, complaining, lecturing, the pointing out of ignorance, awareness raising, lawsuits etc. if you would like mountain to stop making racist jokes, he in turn would like you to go f*ck yourself</span>.

So, people who have problems doing everything else are supposed to be able to summon up cliffs and bankrobbers by merely snapping their fingers.

Hmmmm. Maybe you should give advice on how people are supposed to take your advice.

Yes, you are right about that. I&#39;ve noticed that long time ago - whenever I&#39;m in danger I have "super" lucid powers - I can manifest weapons from nothing in front of my face, teleport, create forcefields or dominate my enemies. Normally these things are very hard, but when used for *defense* I have great success.
Pretty much "fight or flight" response dream style...

I&#39;ve noticed that after doing LDing for quite some time I get defensive powers in normal dreams too - I can have control while not being lucid - it&#39;s possible to wake up, restart the dream or somehow fend off whoever is messing with me

lol, maybe adrenaline has an effect on dreams

supposedly, adrenaline will excite you and wake you up from a dream (maybe one reason why you wake up right before you hit the ground in a normal dream when falling off of something), but I&#39;ve noticed the same thing. When I&#39;m just playing around, it&#39;s tough to inflict violence upon people, but when a schoolbus full of children attacks, I can just point my finger like a gun and vaporize them (this has happened to me in a lucid dream). Maybe it&#39;s because you&#39;re focused more on the task at hand, and ideas come to you as feasible because they&#39;re your only choice, and you don&#39;t think twice about doing them, but when you&#39;re in a calm environment with time to think about what you&#39;re trying to do, you tend to overanalyze the action and as a result it doesn&#39;t work.
