Had my first lucid dream in probably 3 or 4 months. . I dreamt I was getting the newspaper when I was attacked by a guy on a bicycle. After a strange game of dodge the bull and another guy appearing, he pulled an Ak-47 on us and held us hostage. I then realized that this was very strange indeed, and thought it might be a dream. I was about to do a reality check by trying to fly, but right before I did, the dream began to fade. The last thing I remember was the dream switching to a third person view as I watched myself rocket away. My question is, Was this the wrong type of reality check to do, and what can I do to avoid such a thing happening again? It seemed like it faded so fast that I didn't have a chance to spin or rub my hands, as I was already in a third person view.

I would reccommend that you use the digital watch/ clock/ timer RC, as this has never failed in my experience. I wouldn't say that any RC is the "wrong type", I just think that everyone is different, and different RC's will work for different people.

Adopted Megabenman although he disappeared a while ago.
