      I seem to not have that much of a problem getting lucid. the problem is as soon as i get lucid, i wake up.
      any way i can stop this and just stay in the dream? i don&#39;t even get a chance to rub my hands or anything&#33;
      the reccuring pattern is: see my hands - realise that i am dreaming - wake up.

      When I was a kid this happened a lot. I would think, "Oh. This is a dream. So I could stop all of it if I wanted." and I did. That was before I knew about lucid dreaming. I haven&#39;t had a real lucid dream yet but when I do I hope I don&#39;t try to wake myself up.
