when i want to walk in a dream i cant seem to do it, its like i have to drag myself around in the dream i find this weird because i can walk ok in my real life does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Do you feel like you're trying to walk or run through deep water? I have that sensation sometimes - like everything's going in slow motion...
well that happened to me .anyway try to run fast , really don't walk when you feel that feeling just try your best and run :) it worked for me
Thats the sensation exactly when i try to walk or run i feel like my legs have become really heavy like i have weights on them!
The dreams arent lucid they are non-lucid but its still weird....

If your legs feel really heavy, maybe (just for fun) try sinking into the ground or beneath the floor and see where you're ending up. Maybe you'll find that something is holding you down... you may not, but it'd be an interesting experiment.
I can see me doing that and sinking into the ground and it swallowing me and ending up somewere bad like hell lol but thats would be my luck lol.... I spose I dont have to worry... I cant even get Lucid at the moment lol.
Yeah I get this all the time, this is my Dreamsign what i know of, but even tho it happens a lot I never seem to recognize this Dreamsign. Wich bothers my so much >_<
This happens to me alot, I always have to like grab on to grass, poles, and what not to drag my self faster....but I got better at running, walking when I realized that in order to run, you have to imagine rather than actually trying, if that makes any sense. Like there are two ways we try to run, physically (which doesn't work) and then you have to imagine (which does work). Imagine it freely without giving it much thought.
Don't try to walk.. try to glide.
wear a jetpack to counteract the heaviness =P or an anti-grav belt.
I have some trouble while trying to run, and I agree with miss_eri. Try to imagine you walking, not actually walking physically. This way you can extend your acrobatic abilities xD (soon you'll be running up walls, and flying)
Try not using your legs. You can borrow someone else's legs and use those to walk around town. It's cool I do it all the time in my Lucid Dreams. Just walk up to a Dream Character and Push them down and Yell out. "GIVE ME THAT!!" and just ripped off thier legs and put them on you. And then turn around and look at them and say. " I DARE YOU TO GET UP!!"
Another thing you can try is when you walk during the day try and pay attention to your legs, notice how your body moves, and at what speed it moves. The more you focus on walking throughout the day the more likely you are to be able to walk in your dreams.
reminds me of the scene in the matrix, where neo and morpheus are in the fighting simulation.
neo: i know kung fu
morpheus: is that so? then show me.
a few minutes go by, and neo is unable to land a hit against morpheus.
morpheus: you're going to have to do better then that, if you expect to hit me.
neo: im trying
morpheus: well stop trying to hit me and hit me!
anything you imagine, WILL happen. just imagine yourself walking, and you can walk.
