I just had this dream last night (sort of, it was today actually).

I transformed a glass of water into a mug of Stout ( a kind of alcohol).

      Briefly, this is what happened:

      - There was a glass of water in front of me.
      - There was 1 or more dream characters with me (I can't remember who they are. I don't think they are people I know in the waking world).
      - I wanted to see if I could transform the glass of water into something else.
      - I closed my eyes in my dream (what I saw when I closed my eyes looked amazingly like what I see when I close my eyes in the waking world)
      - I opened my eyes and.......I saw a glass/mug of Stout. I tasted it and it tastes ...can't really describe it.

A point to note (which can be taken to be a not so good point) is that I wasn't lucid in this dream.

(In the waking world, I have never drunk Stout before. But I tasted it in this dream)

I suppose sceptics will say that while I closed my eyes in the dream, one of the dream characters exchanged the glass of water with the mug of Stout. LOL

Anyone else uses this technique to transform objects? Any other techniques (more effective or otherwise) to share?

      Thanks

I don't know about tasting things, but when I was 12 years old and never been kissed, I had a dream that I kissed someone, and I could feel it and everything, and then when I *did* have my first kiss a couple of years later, it was exactly how I had dreamt it. I was like "Wow... Deja Vu!" LOL.
How do I know if this is really happening? For all I know, I'm asleep and typing on my pillow!

It seems like you may have been lucid perhaps low level. It has always been a strong theory of mine that you are more powerful in Low level lucid dreams than the high dreams because the majority of your subconscious is controlling the dream content. I was think that maybe your DC changed the glass while your eyes were closed..lol.

      LOL

By the way, did you ever have a lucid dream where a dream character tells you he/she is your subconscious? Just asking. I had one recently.
