I think I got the lucid part down now... but there is one more thing I need to know, how to control my dreams. After I attain lucidity, I know I am dreaming and I can think, but thats it. Its like I have the body and all its senses, its mind, but not its physical motion. If I think of something to do, its like the physical motion part gets to decide if he wants to do it or not... strange. Are there methods of getting full control over the dream?

FYI, I am using the DILD method.
      Methods attempted and successes:
      Wild: 1
      Dild: 4

Interesting, in all my LDs I'm in control of myself. Only problem is that many times I have no body or only a 'ghostly' one (ehem, does this word exist?). I'm like a soul floating in the air at the height of my eyes, and can see, hear and float around the dreamscape. I found a solution to this in one of Billybob's tutorials. Rubbing my hands not only helps to stabilize the dream, but also makes me start to feel my hands, and the rest of the body follows.

If you can't move at all maybe you could try to increase your lucidity; say to yourself: "increase lucidity!" or something like that

I think that those are great ideas, after all, you are only limited in a dream by your doubts, it may take practice and certain techniques to get rid of that doubt by putting your faith in those techniques or yourself. I've never had that problem, though once I do remember being a ghost, I think I was trying to be invisible or something though

That's probably your issue, similar to many others (including myself), the ability to fight off your dreams clutches on you via concentration or belief in yourself

Ah, I have to say then that only time can and practice can help you gain control over a LD, the more you experience and try to control, the easier it is to control one with less and less effort.

But, it can also depend on how tired you are when you go to sleep for how easy it is for you to gain that control, since DILDs are your technique of choice, if your mind to very tired, then it would be harder for you to keep control over a dream [I know that much from experience]
