problems with where i become lucid

well i've had lucid dreams for as long as i can remember but i've just recently been researching them and trying to induce them (rather than have them accidently).
i'm getting a lot better at staying lucid and not becoming too excited.. but i seem to be having one problem. when i become lucid i'm not standing up. like last night i was in a car when i became lucid and i wanted to do things like fly but i couldn't because i was in the car. i also wanted to try spinning so that i could change the scenery but i couldn't because i was sitting down. i ended up just talking to my dream characters that were also in the car, and doing what i could with my surroundings. also, i wasn't driving the car so i couldn't pull it over.
any tips?

Ask the person driving the car to stop. I bet most of the time the driver would. Or you could just jump out, which is pretty safe since any person in real life would stop the car if you tried to jump out heh. If your sitting some where else just stand up.

well that's the problem it's like i have control over everything but my ability to stand up. i don't really know how to explain it. maybe i just need more practice or something.

You really just have to rember that it is YOUR dream and you can do anything you wish. Don't let normal social or physcial limits hinder you next just tell them t stop the car and do what YOU want

When I'm stuck I usually think "fuck this scenario, I'm changing it" and close my eyes really hard and concentrate on making everything white. When that happens and I open my eyes I'm in a white void.

I always try to remember that it's all in my head and created by me...and basically a part of me, so I should be able to control it like controlling my arm.
