I always find it best to think of something I am not allowed to do, and think of different places I would like to do that. |

One technique I've found to work well to change the dream scenery is, first find a blank wall. then get a paint brush, imagine yourself as a great artist(because if you believe it you are), then start painting on the wall. "see" the complete new scene you want to enter painted on the wall, then walk through it. |

Usually I realize a dream in the middle of a nightmare (as they're frequent and things that are truly abnormal happen) and usually I change the image right before something happens to me at the last second. I just close my eyes and everything and concentrate hard and when I know it's a dream I open my eyes and everything's white (like in the Matrix...which is where my subconscience got the idea for the scenery from). From there I just imagine the landscape I want and voila! I'm sure you know the rest: play mini-God! |
