      My lucids suck! Help!

The other day, I laid down to take a nap, though I wasn't really tired, I figured that'd be best for WILDing so I could keep my consciousness. It totally worked, and after watching a lot of HI, I was in a dream, and I realized it (I saw a statue and said "hey, if this is a dream, I can make him look at me," and he did). But the thing was, as soon as I was lucid I couldn't move very fast at all, and I had maybe three false awakenings in which I had really annoying double vision. I rubbed my hands, I tried to spin, and I completely realized I was dreaming, but it was really difficult. How can I gain more clarity in my lucid dreams? It was so frustrating!
      Thanks,
      Kristin

instead of putting your faith in somthing you are sure of, get an item you know will work to do that for you. (ex. i cant see very well, so instead of rubbing my hands, i pull out my magic wand and give it a flick to fix my vision.) somtimes reliying on objects to get the job done works better than reliying on yourself.

      Yell "INCREASE LUCIDITY"

Or just slow your mind down, concentrate and do something normal for a bit. Just walk around the dream world, once you feel like you can gain control, do something out of the ordinary- Fly, or whatever you want.

Find a DC and and take their eyes and trade yours and see if you see an better. Its sounds a little bad, but they won't mind . And to increase your clarity try noticing small details in waking life and use your senses. Goodluck
