      frustration ----- heartbeat...

      has anyone ever thought that they had total control of their lucid dream and then you get VERY frustrated when what you are trying to make happen doesnt happen...

      ex... you are walking somewhere and you see some stairs and you want to go upstairs but you end up walking right past the stairs

      this seems to happen to me alot and i usually just wake up right after this happens... the dream fades and i awake suddenly with VERY FAST heartbeat... does this happen to other people?

      let me know... kthx

      Yep - happens to me a lot.

      As soon as you try make something a 'certainty', your mind has a way of defying it.
      Its like the light switch reality check. As soon as it has a forced certainty, it becomes less likely to be as certain as you thought it was.

      Those seems to be signs of low-level lucidity. But its odd to hear this, because my low-level experiences are only limited to what I can either produce, will, or transvert. I always have complete control over my thought pattern and myself. I think if you loose control over yourself then you're pretty much slipping back into your normal pattern of sub-conscious dreaming. Try screaming out "HIGH LEVEL LUCIDITY" whenever that happens to you again. You will definately see some postive results then.
