      Sex the Motivator

      Here is my two cents on dream clarity.

      Last night I had a lucid. One where you just realise you are dreaming. This really hot girl I knew was standing next to me, and I had unfinsihed business from a previous dream. Unfortunately, I lost all clarity, the image went fuzzy and blurry and diffcult to make out, like being really drunk. Then it went black. There was nothing there, and I was on the verge of waking up. But I wanted it back, so I didn't get excited or disappointed. I just concentrated on willing the dream to return. After a few seconds, it did - it formed with complete clarity. And you can guess what happened from there

      Anyway, it lasted about 2 minutes, becuase I was walking around looking for another girl (yes - the focus of my LD's are rather predictable.) The dream started to fade again, I tried to stop it but this time it didn't work. I woke up with a buzzing in my ears and sleep paralysis.


      So basically, this just goes to show that if you don't get excited, frustrated, worked up, and don't lose hope, it is easier to maintain and re enter a dream. Perhaps a tip for other newbies like myself?

      Yes about what you said that is very true. But if you decide to step on the good foot and do the dirty in a dream what kind of feelings do you think that brings up?

      1) Very Happy
      2) Excited
      3) Anxious
      4) Worked Up

      Hmmm... those all sound like the kind of things that would end a dream. So if you are going to find the nearest opposite (or same whatever your preference) sex and bump and grind be ready for what comes or you may find your dream will end rather quickly.

      Nice post. I have the same thing where it gets fuzzy and then dark then I open my real eyes and I am awake. I will try to remember not to my eyes but go back to the dream. The problem is I aways want to remember the the dream before I lose it and I sit there and try to replay the dream rather then re-enter.

      One time I stole some guys girlfriend in a dream and starting doing her right their on the spot. Unfortunately she wasn't quite willing and then her (Huge) boyfriend starting chasing me. I ran away and then flew off but all that stress made me wake up. I'll be more careful next time...

      is there a way to maintain the LD though if you bump and grind? there must be .
