Prolonging Lucid - 2 Tactics (possibly old news)

I'm a newbie at this kind of thing, so when I heard about it.. I wanted to tell you guys. This was tested with 34 volunteers that claimed to be lucid dreamers. Some of them spun around in their dream, some of them rubbed their hands, others did nothing. 91% of the people who rubbed their hands got an extended lucid, 96% of the ones spinning in their dreams got an extended lucid, and 36% of the ones doing nothing got an extended lucid.

Oh well, for you people who actually get lucids reguarly, tell me if it works!

I usually dream spin, but will occasionally hand rub. They both work great for me

rubbing my hands works way better for me than spinning...normally spinning will just make everything black out and I'll wake up.

I agree if it's a choice between rubbing my hands and spinning.. it's definately rubbing my hands.

Everytime I've tried to spin (either to enhance the dream or to change the dream's location), I've ended up in blackness and woken up as well!

Both work for me although rubbing hands is a little easier to keep control with then spinning. So I would choose rubbing of the hands.

Yes, this is old. Like, LaBerge old.

From my short experience, though, rubbing and looking at my hands works very well. Never tryed spinning.

I have been experimenting with spinning. But I have not decided if it does anything for me yet. I like doing a lot of hand springs and backflips.
I'm thinking this would have the same effect as spinning, and it's more fun.
