Here is an excerpt from my Journal:
I pushed my finger through my palm and became lucid. I started by simply flying (it was like using a no_clip cheat in a P.C. game) and passed through the walls. I came to a street and saw some men. They were aggressive looking and I decided to try spawning a gun. I said to myself that there was a gun in the pocket of my trench coat (which I was for some reason wearing) and felt around. Nothing. I tried again, nothing. I finally said that there IS a gun there because I put one there yesterday for such an occasion. I pulled it out to find that it was misshapen. The handle was far to short and at an angle inward while the muzzle was pointing upward. I threw it down and tried again, this time an acceptable gun came out. I pulled the trigger, CLICK. I said that it was loaded as I always kept it loaded. CLICK. I grew frustrated and threw it away.
As you can see, I still have trouble summoning a gun. Perhaps I should try to think about how it works, and what it looks like before summoning?
yeah, I'm sure other people have said this, but verbal commands really do work wonders. for me, I say something along the lines of "this is MY dream, and i want a gun NOW!"
Otherwise, convince yourself that there is a gun your pocket. Don't summon it, but know that it is there before you reach for it.
