Does anyone know how to train yourself to awake at specific times, without an alarm? |
Are you dreaming?

Yep, that seems to work pretty well for me. I just set the intent to wake up at a specific time. Well, really you do anyway, you're just training yourself to remember. |

If you find yourself not being able to wake up at certain times, try using a cell phone or alarm that vibrates to wake you up. I used that to train myself to wake up at certain times. |

What works good is the water thing. You get thirsty before going to bed and then you get a glass of water or juice (cold!) and put it next to your bed. You take a little sip and put it back there again. Just a little one! |
The power of suggestion combined with your internal clock can be very useful indeed I find. Going to bed with the express intent for a real purpose can work, though this isn't as reliable as an alarm clock I find. |
well if you relize that you have been in a dream for a while.... try to focus on breathing deeply... it should fuzz out and you should come awake... or you could get on a sleep schedual and say if you go to be say 11pm... you want to aim on waking up at 8am... |
ive managed to wake myself up if ive forgot to set the alarm becouse im going to school.. just that my "auto wake" seems to always be 10-20 minutes to late... wierd? |
Actually yes, I know if it's something I HAVE to do or something that I'm really looking forward to doing something, I can just pop up @ a certain time, this is a good thread b/c I never really thought about how amazing that really is considering I can oversleep and be late for work!!!! |
Roll your eyes upwards oO It works every time. |
I remember when I was young, I always said to my parents the exact time I would woke up in the morning. And I always did... those time's were very wierd like 06:05 or whatever, but I just thought it was the way how you wake up. (...and it is, kill the alarms - you can be the alarm) |
Well for me waking up at a certain time comes with repetition, but the repetition for me is from school and on the weekends i don't wake up immediately at 7 but i will wake up generally around that time...and then fall right back to sleep |

There is no real-life, there is only AFK.
I had a similar question. Let's say you slept, you wake up but you fall back asleep. You're dreaming again. You realize that if you keep on sleeping you'll be late for school/work/whatever so you have to wake up. Would it be possible to wake yourself up? |
If you honestly believe you will wake up at a certain time, you can get yourself to wake up. Just think really hard that you want to wake up at a certain time. |

Are you dreaming?
I can do it, I don't know how exactly. I've been doing this seince i was little. Just tell your subconscious mind to wake you at the specified time. It always works for me! |

Ill set my alarm clock for a certain time, but I always wake up a few minutes before it goes off. I guess this is an effect of intention. |
