      Question Easier flying?

I can fly pretty well in my dream, once I learnt not to try and will the flight but to expect it to happen my flying has improved significantly but I still sometimes can't get off the ground which seems to be the hardest.. or only be able to float a little

any tips on how to go faster also? my flying speed is pretty medium

In my first full blown LD, I tried shooting off at a megaton speed and blacked out...I could feel myself and hear the sounds of myself cutting through the air like extremely sharp knives but I still couldn't regain my vision and then I blacked out permanently and had to wakeup in my dream again shortly afterwards. I did some research on this and found that it's actually common to blackout if you go at tremendous speeds and are too low to the ground, so tip?

If you want to go extremely fast, go higher up from the ground. It's okay to be near the ground when you're going very slow though.

And on how to go super fast like a flying flash? Do it neo style, crouch low to the ground then jump up very fast with a high expectancy to shoot off at the speed that accurately matches the speed of your jump.
Things are not as they seem
