So I was having this dream... long story short i was Clark Kent fighting hell monsters and vampires.... |

The problem isnt going fast... the problem is that if i go fast, i have no control and i cant think fast enough to actually make it worthwhile... I cant make myself think faster because if i do then everything else goes faster too so its really quite pointless except as a minor means of time dilation |

Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right. - Henry Ford |

Then don't imagine your body parts moving. Imagine yourself accelerating toward wherever you want to go. That's how I do it. I just glance at my target, and concentrate on getting closer to it as fast as possible (I think what gives it the most success is that I don't think too hard about it. I just think about what I'm going to do next after I get there. Maybe this future-thought makes the future setting come faster?). Sure, I'll run to whatever/wherever, but I don't think about the mechanics of running. Concentrating on individual body parts is hard. Concentrating on fast movement in general is easy. |

The detached perspective thing is very cool. I cant say ive had more than a few lucids where this happened. But high-speed flying is my favorite thing to do. Just try to imagine the earth's gravity reversing itself, and then go up. If you are wanting to travel the speed of light thats the only place you really can go, considering that at that speed you would be able to see the earth from outerspace in a second. |

I only once used super speed. I put all my focus into moving my legs as fast as I could and I left all turns to the last second. It was very fun. |
