      Is this SP?

I've never experienced SP before, but last
night I was trying to WILD, as I laid in bed
I started hearing a loud ringing noise in my ears
and my whole body felt like it was shaking. Was that
SP that I was expiriencing? If it was, what should I do
so that I can become lucid after the SP. Because I
wasn't sure what to do when it happed last night.

      -Thanks

Yeah, it was probably SP. You just lay there untill you feel that you're in a dream. You should probably visualize dream-scenes, too.

I get two waves of sleep paralysis, one gentle and shaking, like your described, then a much more violent wave. I'm not sure why there are two, but it seems like it's common. I would wait until all vibrating and all hypnogogic imagery stops before opening my eyes and doing a reality check.

Evening!!! A huge congrats!! SP is an accomplishment for someone learning the WILD technique... The hardest part is to hit SP the rest is easy... After SP your pretty much there... Either roll your body out, open your dream eyes, or vizualize!!! Great job and good luck!!

Red face I had SP last night too

I heard that you can have an OBE from the lucid dreaming state and wanted to try last night while lucid dreaming. I flew up and saw the underside of my bed. I could see myself through the bed and floated through the bed and tried to float through my body but I think I got stuck. It was hard to breathe or move or open my eyes although I could see. I guess this was SP and I tried to relax but woke up. It was kind of freaky, but an interesting feeling.
