      How long does this take?

I am inclined to suggest simply to wait longer and do not worry about opening your eyes for sometime.

I've had problems opening my eyes at the beginnings of a few WILDs. I read somewhere that you have to realize you don't need to open your eyes. Try something as simple as verbally stating ,mid dream, for your vision to clarify, or as most around here shout, "CLARITY"

It works if you believe it will.

My last WILD my hair kept falling into my face and obsuring my view. I finally got tired of it and simply willed it away. It worked. Same could work for not being able to open your eyes. Simply will yourself to see.
