Hints from your Brain
While taking a shower this morning, I realized that showers in my dreams weren't just dream signs - I think my brain was trying to send me the wake-up message!
Recently in dreams, I have interacted with showers consistantly. Shower heads aren't even in showers most of the time. Sometimes they are on walls in my bedroom, or rotating around columns while I walk. I've had 5 dreams with showers in a couple of weeks. In many of these dreams, the shower was the most vivid image or feeling from the dream.
In waking life, I take a shower within minutes of waking up almost every day. Showers serve to wake my body and mind up. I think - especially since showers have been showing up in irregular places - that my subconscious was trying to use the sensation of the shower to wake my mind up. (Since I've been obviously been trying to have lucids.)
Maybe the sensation of warm shower water and the noise it makes is supposed to be a sort of placebo or to trick my brain into waking. Since it's not an actual sensation, it shouldn't wake my body up.
I suppose, to be able to take advantage of this, I should be extremely aware while in the shower.
Anyone else had such an experience?
I haven't had any luck with dream signs

Hi yabber,
whatever the reason, do a reality check every morning in the shower - even if you already know you're awake. Make it part of your routine.
That's a great dreamsign! It's something you do everyday and you already made the connection to dreams in waking life.

Definitely if there are recurring events in your dreams that you do on a daily basis while awake you should be turning it in to a dream sign. You should be doing RC's several times during your shower and possibly every time you focus on the shower head, since that is what you have been seeing in dreams specifically.

Maybe your mind thinks you smell bad. lol.
Sorry. XD
