This is a really really short thing, but I just wanted to tell you a few things that go on with lucid dreamers and trying to end a dry spell, so here are some things that might help.
VOCABULARY FOR BEGINNERS
Lucidity - The state in which a dreaming mind has discovered they are dreaming. While in lucidity, anything is possible. ANYTHING.
Dry Spell - A case in which a lucid dreamer has gone for an extended period of time from their last lucid dream. Many lucid dreamers describe this as their 'lucid worst fear'.
Lucid Dreamer - One who trains to lucid, or is an expert at lucid dreaming.
GOAL
Find a way to focus easily or end a dry spell, and make sure it works easily for you.
Dry Spells. These can come from being stressed out, or having a cluttered mind, or even having an empty mind, meaning you're bored. Hehe.
Here's my method.
And a quote. "Relax and take a breath. The day isn't over yet." Hehe.
1. Listen to some soothing music - This can clear your mind generally and help you stop thinking about unecassary things.
2. Think of a favorite subject - Say there's a movie you really like. Picture the landscape of the main area or imagine the main music of it.
3. Keep away from negative thoughts - Stop thinking your house is haunted! Lol, this is my problem right now, 'cuz I watched a freaky show. Hehe. Anyway, just don't think of distracting or disturbing thoughts. This will reduce stress, lessening the effect of a dry spell.
4. Read a book - This will get your mind off of other things and keep you focused on that subject. This trains you to focus on one thing, or just relaxes you.
Of all, my most recommended choices are 1 and 4.
