How can i make my lucid dream's have a story line??

hey, im john... i love having lucid dream's, they beat aneything in waking life. But there's one thing iv'e always wanted to do with them. And that's have a story line to it. If you become lucid you can always go along with the story. But often i dont no what the story is. How do i make one from scratch?... like, i want to be in a movie in my lucid dream's... for example, Cloverfield. The new movie about a giant monster attacking new york city.. Is it possible to plant yourself right in the middle of that scenario. And not exactly folow the dream like the movie is.. Sort of play it in my own way if you get me?

So basicly im asking how to create a dream scenario from scratch. With people, lighting, Noises... scenery.. exactly as you want, from a certain movie. And then play around in it for a while. Like your staring in it. Only it's real.... im sorry, it's really hard to explain. If aneyone undertands i would love some help on how to do this... Thank's for reading..
We all are so deeply interconnected; we have no option but to love all. Be kind and do good for any one and that will be reflected. The ripples of the kind heart are the highest blessings of the Universe.

Anything's possible when you're dreaming, including building your own dream scenario. Visualization is a common way to do this. If you can't just make this scenario happen, you might want to try walking into a holographic building, and ask the computer to create the scenario for you.

I do this all the time, so long as you are lucid you can just do it.

BTW: if you want a good plot then don't use too much power once your scenario has started.

This is a concern for me, too. I mean, what's the point of venturing into the heart of the African rainforest to slay the king python when there's no story? And don't spoil it by giving yourself god- like powers, it'll make it less interesting. You need to imagine yourself in one of the scenes in cloverfield, if that makes sense.

Before you go to bed, write out a plot or something on a piece of paper, then in your dream, close your eyes and remember that plot.

I think Billybob's thread on schemas might interest you. It's a long read but reading his opening statement should coincide with what you're wanting to do.

I think you'd just kind of expect the people to act the way they would in your plot based on your actions thus far, im not sure cause i havnt tried it but thats how i'd try

Bare in mind, if it is a DILD then you will already have a plot and characters.

More like setting and characters. Most of my dreams don't have "plots", just random goals/ideas.

It probably is possible, but there is a high chance you will get distracted while trying to go along with the story. Like some random chick walks up and asks you to have sex with her (irresistible).... Then there might be a scene skip and before you know it your already doing it a posh hotel or something. Distractions are very common in LD and they almost always make me forget what i was going to do or my goals.

      But hey, thats just me

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

it seems almost like all of mine end up being like one big story altogether. Sometimes DCs will mention things that happened in a previous LD, I will see the same DC in more than one, and I will sometimes go back to the same place. And things also happen that make it seem like it has a story line to it, even when all i'm trying to do is fly around or something.

what fun is a lucid plot if you write the beginning and end?

a normal dream plot is much funner, its more unexpected and you're not sure how its going to unfold itself. rather than defining a plot, why not create an interesting situation and let the subconscious do the magic? its more creative than the conscious ever will be? *its your seat of creativity*

like, create monsters in a laboratory. done.

will the cops come for you? will the monsters become evil? will they be good? will they be unleashed unto the city? do you have to save the monsters from persecution or destroy your own creation?

just go with the flow and keep expecting something to happen. your subconscious will fill in the gaps.

      Absolutely!!!

The main thing that occupies my interest right now is to create a story and live within my dreams. Someone here said that his guide saves his dream from the ending point of it (like the games) and then he goes back to it. In that way we give rise to a second life, that will keep our interest at high level, the usual "oh im bored to kill, fly, wandering in these random places for no reason etc.." no longer exists.

      Good luck!
