Question Everyone has been talking about bulding. How?

I've seen a lot of people mentioning that it would be easier to do something by just building "it" such as a teleporting machine or a cloning machine or something of that matter. How exactly can I "build" something? Any tips or techniques?

If it is something large, extend your arms and raise them upward, it works for me.

I don't think that building things is easier than just doing it mentally. I think if you've got the ability to create a time machine or cloning machine and having the belief that it will work, then you can mentally change your dream.

You could try the spinning technique if you find building with just "mental powers" alone fails. The technique is basically where you spin around and imagine a new dreamscape. Once you stop spinning you will (hopefully) be there.

Spin, imagine something you want to have built, stop and see if it worked.

Building something sounds hard than using LD magic/power

I've personally never used this technique, but it seems that the easiest way to do it would be to just "find" a time machine etc - like how you can "find" another person - by just expecting it to be there when you open a door etc.

Why do this instead of just magically doing it? Well some people believe that it helps the stability of your dreams if you can justify what happens with something other than "because it's a dream and I can".

Sometimes magically doing it is harder - if you don't have perfect dream control. It's more logical for our brains if a machine does something for you, than just making it happen.

Using "The Force" still works very well for me.

I'm a newbie to Lucid Dreaming, so perhaps my two cents is only worth one cent to you, but I felt inclined to throw my opinion in here anyhow.

From what I have come to understand, there are no "rules" inside of your dreams. Everything that manifests manifests because of, and obviously inside of, your own mind. There is no "reality" or things like "physics" or "God" or "fate" to control you. What you believe, is what is.

It's like the Matrix. Only even more open ended, because there isn't even any programming telling you what works and what don't.

What will work is what you believe will work.

I believe "rules" that you have in your Lucid Dreams are more in part to what your own, individual mind has created or believes in. Perhaps no matter how hard you try, you can't teleport. If so, you might find it easier to create (around the corner if you need to) a machine that will teleport you.

Maybe to your mind this makes more sense.

Maybe randomly teleporting is just so strange it would throw off the stability of your dream. But I don't like to believe that it has to be this way.

Try what works for you, I say, but I'd also like to say that you should keep in your mind that with enough skill from practice, time, and natural ability at lucid dreaming, you should be able to do in it whatever you want. However you want.

      Thanks for listening.

The machine is just there to reinforce the belief that'll work.
