List of things that I need help with

Ok, So I am kind of a new lucid dreamer and I was wondering if anybody could help me with some of the "goals" that I have. Heres a small list of some of the things I wanna to do, but have NO IDEA on how to make them happen.

1. Make ball of energy and blast someone!
2. Transform into a mermaid and then swim in the ocean.
3. Summon simple things like an egg or a key.
4. Make my own island. (BIGGEST goal)

Just like with all dream manipulation, there is no set answer as to how to do these things. We have different techniques, and we usually develop our own. :)

Pretty much, all you have to do is to think about it, and visualise it, to make it happen. Though I do have a tip with summoning small objects. I pull them out from my hands. If I need a key, I cup/make a fist with one hand, and pull the object out of my closed hand with the other.

When I want something, I usually just say to myself, "Behind that door is _______." Then I go through the door. What I actually find may be somewhat different than I expected, (I once summoned Jessica Alba this way, and she was there, but turned into a vampire), but it's usually in essence what I wanted. Actually, it's kind of a benefit for the dream to take what you wish for and give it its own twist. Usually. The vampire thing was a let-down. I think it mostly depends on your level of lucidity how much what you get resembles what you wanted.

For small things, I would just say to myself, if there's a dresser nearby, "In that drawer is _____."

For an island, I would probably just get in a boat and say to myself, "Just over the horizon is my island." Then ride your boat there. You might want to do something more dramatic like raise your hands and have the island rise up from the water. I've never tried something like that, though I don't see why it wouldn't work if you expected it to.

To be a mermaid, go swimming and move your legs in tandem like a mermaid would, then think, "when I look back at my legs, I will have a fish tail."

For a ball of energy, I've never tried that, but just knowing it's a dream and expecting it to happen, like any of these things, will usually cause it to happen.

for number 1, i suggest watching a mortal kombat scene. the one in the blue iscalled raiden summons lightning into his hands and fires it out in bolts. try that.

You might want to associate a simple physical action with the creation of this energy ball you want to conjur. For myself, I'd snap my fingers in the dream to create balls of fire in my hands. Just think of what action you want to perform in order to create your desired effect.

Say I want to remove things from my dream, like DCs, or buildings. I'll blink my eyes with the intention of making them disapear, and they're gone. Simple as that.

Unseen Wombat's technique for summoning is excellent as well. "I had a master key to the city, where'd I put it... Ah, in my pocket!" Of course you'll remember that you have God-powers and that keys would be trivial. Stick with walking through walls or using those energy balls of yours to incinerate doors.

Hint for energy ball move your hands somthly and believe that little bits on energy are coming from the air and joining where you like. For sommuning and tranfroming a little bit of a chant of maybe you may want cheack up some other posts others and i have lots of ideas. Island try flying to a place in the ocean and make sand appear first the grass etc...
