Feeling like I am not me

When I am lucid, sometimes I feel like a different person. Or I feel like I am 1/3 present.

      Anyone experience this?

How do you regain your real self?

Arthurium, it may be that you need to increase the "vividness" of your lucid dream.

You may try to increase your vividness by confidently stating aloud "increase lucidity" or "clarity now".. this does work for me.

You might also try to "ground" yourself in the dream (i.e., make it as lucid as it can be).

One of the tricks I use to "ground" myself is to "touch" things. By touching.. I mean really "feeling" them. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc. (this also increases the vividness of the dream along with helping me remain in it longer).

Just remember that "the deeper the level of lucidity.. the better your lucid experience should be".
