changing faces of DC's, tips?

recently, I have been attempting to change people's faces in my dreams, with various levels of success. initially, I begin by focusing on the face area and with all my mind power try and transform it in one go. unfortunately, this isn't the best technique - so if this fails (which it normally does), I will attempt to create each feature one by one (eyes, nose, then mouth etc.) - now, even though this works more often than not, it takes me a lot of concentration and can become quite frustrating at times (making me give up). I was just wondering if anybody had any other methods that they themselves try?

I am considering that it may be easier to have an existing person in mind, because at the moment I tend to think on the spot - and when I am successful it is normal for me to not recognize the person I have created (which I do not mind).

This technique works for me. Look away from the person's face while you visualise what you want their face to look like. Then look back, and see if it worked. :)

Looking away is probably the worst thing I could do.

Why?

I would lose concentration by looking away from the face or possibly get distracted. the features are normally non existent or blurred whilst I am initially creating, in which case i can see no advantage of looking away. i may try this method if all else fails at my next opportunity. thanks.

Ah, I understand. Well, I don't really have any other suggestions for you, but I'll keep this in mind. Maybe I can think of something.
