Thread: Dream Sharing

I havent. I seriosuly doubt its possibe though someone posted a story of having the same exact dream with someone else. If there is truth to it Id love to learn how!

I remember a thread being about this topic awhile ago. For me, I've never had a shared dream, and I doubt it's even possible.

I've heard many success stories, actually. I definitely think it's possible.

Some might doubt the whole "the dream world is another plane of existence" theory, so I think maybe shared dreaming occurs if two people have a strong psychic connection at that particular moment. Like in waking life, your friend thinks of 5 numbers and you guess them all in a row.. that sort of thing (on a higher level though). I guess that's why it usually happens with people you love or really close friends.

i think its very possible but also very spontanious,like a rare natural miracle.
thered be certain parameters that would have to be in place,and if somewone took the time to arrange all true-sounding reports and could find certain common things maybe we can replicate these circumstances and have a shared dream!

Yup it is possible, though extremely hard to do. I've done it numerous times with a friend. Its something you really can't do if your not good at controling, period.

Logically thinking this probably would be impossible. But, dreaming is on a completely diferent level than the logical world. A wolrd controlled by your expectations, fears, hopes, desires, very unlike the waking world. So i'd like to believe that on a certian aspect that shared dreams are possible to have, alothough are probably pretty hard to have.

i've had what i'd call a shared dream... i had a dream that i was with a friend and he looked like paul mccartney. it was lucid and i kept telling my friend he was dreaming in hopes of a shared lucid dream, i was very skeptical i'd have any effect on him or his dreams really. but the next morning we talked and he said he had this dream where he was paul mccartney, but he couldn't remember too much about it. it was strange

Thats insane....but even then that doesnt nessicarily have to be shared dreaming. Ever think maybe you two had some other sort of telepathic connection? Doesnt mean youyre int he same dream space..or...even crazier. Maybe you two just happened to have similar dreams. Of course dream sharing is another possibility but Im gonna find it hard to believe until some amazing details are shared in a dream.
