      LD rate going up quickly

I have had 3 Lucid Dreams in 3 day period, which is pretty miraculous. It's just that I need some help with fading dreams... I have LD's which fade as soon as they begin, and I cannot react. Also to be mentioned that I've noticed a great increase in my LD rate.

I have this problem to. I have been able to WILD a few times over the past couple days and a few minutes into the dream it starts to fade which I don't like. I would like to remain in my LD's longer but I tend to get too excited sometimes and I try my best to feel things around me, but I can't do it. And they aren't as vivid as I would like them to be either, but I'm still trying.

Easy answer, I know, but I found that excersising before bed increased how vivid my dreams were ten-fold. It could have been coincidence but I definately have better dreams after depleting all my energy before bed.

to increase your vividness in your dreams try rubbing your hands together or looking at your hands have you read about this on the front page?

Spinning works really well for me. It instantly charges me up.

Spinning and rubbing hands are techniques that work well for many. Let me give you a general rule to prevent the dream from fading:

Interact with the dream environment in some way.

Also, depending on how exactly you transition into the dream state, you might want to wait and be still for a little, just looking around your environment. If you use visualization you probably begin your dream in a new environment (in which case rub your hands, spin (slowly! This can help your subconscious build your dream space), and see/touch/smell/hear/taste your surroundings). However, if you're like me and you wake up in your own bed, I like to lie there making small movements with my dream body and imagining what my room looks like. I also do a few reality checks and rub my bedspread to stabilize the connection. You might have to really focus at first to keep the lucid dream going for any enjoyable length of time.
